Owls Head Vacation Rental cottage

This charming cottage by the seaside is the perfect place to get away with family and friends. You can enjoy scenic ocean views of Rockland Harbor from every bedroom, the livingroom, dining room, as well as from the large spacious deck. The cottage itself is so cozy and comfortable. Barbara and Ken have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable with all the amenitites of home. Every bedroom has the most comfortable beds I have ever experienced in a cottage rental, each with cozy down comforters and fluffy pillows. Each bed had little bundles of towels and wash clothes tied nicely with pretty ribbons. Each bed had little bowls of chocolates beside them. The kitchen has every gadget and item you could want or need. The outside shower...is so refreshing and fabulous (even in October!). We never grew tired of sitting on the large front porch in any of the comfortable rockers and talking and enjoying our morning coffee or an evening glass of wine watching the sunset on the harbor. Awesome views of the boats coming and going. We often spent nights in the livingroom in front of the fireplace just chatting. As for the location, you are within a short drive to Rockland, Owls Head light, Breakwater light. There are so many wonderful things to do in this area. I cannot say enough about this cottage!! It is truly the perfect place for a vacation/getaway.

Have spent time at Seaside Serenity three times- twice with my family and once for girl's getaway. Sitting on the porch looking at the ocean is relaxing. The cottage is clean, well equiped kitchen, comfortable beds, and an outdoor shower we all loved! My family borrowed my brother's kayaks had a great time kayaking in the bay.
Seaglass, starfish and sea urchins can be found while on daily nature walks! Close to pier so you can get lobsters right off the boats!

Seaside Serenity cottage is relaxed and elegant. Although we shared the home with others there was always a private niche to escape to. In the evening we opened all of the bedroom windows and fell asleep to the sounds of the ocean. The proximity to downtown Rockland is perfect, close enough to venture into with ease, but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle. Despite limitless options of things to do and see, we found ourselves relaxing in the cottage enjoying the best things in life – food, wine, and the company of close friends and family.
