Awesome 1100 square foot Log Cabin nine overlooking a bubbling meandering stream. Smoke-free Cabin is fully appointed with everything you will need for that relaxing get-a-way! Close to the Mississippi River where you can watch the Eagles soar or rest on a sandbar. Downhill skiing is 30 minutes North in LaCrosse and the famous Outfitter Cabella's store is a short drive South in Prairie Du Chien. The Rush Creek State Natural area (2500 acres) is only moments from your door. A private hot tub will soak your troubles away as you listen to the whippoorwill outside in the gazebo that is the hot tub area. 3 night minimum required for Holiday weekends. 4 wheel drive Recommended in Winter Book Early for best availability!     Mid June - August full weeks only - partial weeks at management discretion
    3 night minimum required for Holiday Weekends.

    Pets are welcome but a $45-$50/ stay fee/ pet will apply (non-refundable)
    Pet owners are responsible to pay for or repair any damage by pets

    A security deposit of half the rental amount is due with final payment - security deposit refunded after unit has been inspected by management

The cabin does not have A/C for those that may have an issue with this. The kitchen amenities are far below standard. The seating only accomodates four but beds to accomodate eight so just be aware. The serenity is next to none. Be prepared for critters!
Owner's Response: Thanks for your review- Please note that trees abound and shade the cabin very well to keep it cool. The seating she talks about is in the living room, where space does not permit a larger set-up but chairs are avail. to make sure all have a seat. Kitchen table is perfect for 8 to sit. The kitchen items have been added as needed though it is very hard to predict every item a guest will need. I wish we had a crystal ball! The critters are great: deer, fox, possum, and many birds abound. Thanks for your interest in staying with us.

We had a great time in the cabin last weekend catching up with old friends. The cabin was very rustic, the beds were really comfy, and the view was spectacular. Everyone enjoyed exploring and relaxing around the fire in the cozy cabin. Thanks much!

We have spent 4 nights at the cabin and we had a blast. The cabin is well equiped and in a great location for a relaxing retreat. We would receommend this cabin to anybody and we are hoping to use it again in the future.
Also, we would like to thank Joel for the great directions and all the information provided. Great Job!

We spent four days and three nights at the cabin and loved every detail of our experience. The cabin was so clean and modern. Everything worked so well and the area is breathtaking. Our host was extremely responsive and we will be back regularly.

We love this cabin!! Had a wonderful 13th anniversary here, very quite & secluded. To hear the eagles high in the trees is just beautiful. This is our second year coming to Desoto, we will continue the tradition! Thanks for sharing this wonderful cabin!
