Yes - we said 'single family', so there's lots of space for your family to enjoy & you don't have to share with noisy neighbors. 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, 1/2 bath, kitchen with eat-in dining room. Freshly painted family room with sofa, loveseat, 2 club chairs & sofa bed. Comcast Cable TV in family room & Master BR with wireless internet. Laundry room. Pantry. Six air-conditioning units throughout (one in each BR and one in family room). Kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans, baking pans, dishes/glasses/utensils, blender, mixer, toaster, coffee maker, electric griddle for a big family breakfast, gas stove/oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher & microwave. Ocean City, New Jersey is a seashore community just 20 minutes from Atlantic City, 70 minutes from Philadelphia, and two hours from New York City. Ocean City is famous for its two mile long boardwalk. The boardwalk features mini golf, water slides, amusement rides, video arcades, wonderful beach, shops and much much more! We are located at Plymouth Place & Atlantic Avenue, just one block to the Boardwalk! Convenient location for families with kids! Gillian's Island Water park and Adventure Golf is at our boardwalk entrance. There is an ice cream stand and the Sindia restaurant (serving breakfast, lunch & dinner) just across the street from our home. We are within walking distance of shopping on Asbury Avenue, restaurants on 9th Street and just a few blocks from the grocery store!

Bedroom Accommodations: Master king-size en-suite (with shower stall) bedroom with ceiling fan, TV w/DVD player, new air conditioning unit and its own private deck. Second bedroom with ceiling fan and new air conditioning unit has a queen bed, and its own private deck. Third bedroom has two twin beds, new air conditioning unit and ceiling fan. There is also a second full bathroom (shower/tub) on this floor that has new ceramic tile flooring and ceramic wall tiles as well as a new pedestal sink. All bedrooms on the 2nd floor have been freshly painted. Third floor has two bedrooms and a shared full bathroom (shower stall, two sinks). Fourth bedroom has a queen bed and the fifth bedroom has three twin beds. Both third floor bedrooms have new window air conditioning units.

Dining Areas: Kitchen has glass topped rattan table and 6 rattan chairs. Kitchen island has (5) bar stools. There's also a Tiffany style leaded glass bistro table with 2 chairs. High chair for toddlers. Total eat-in kitchen seating is 13.

Great location and size for the price. House was a bit run-down and not as clean as I would have liked. A/C's in each room were adequate except in living/family/kitchen/hallway rooms there was only one A/C.
Recommended for:  Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Tourists without a Car
Owner's Response: Our Circa 1912 home does have some updates and newer appliances since we purchased it. Each year we renovate certain areas of the home.

We've installed new ceramic tile flooring throughout the first floor, new pedestal sink & toilet in 1st floor half bath, new sink & toilet in 2nd floor hall bath, new countertops in kitchen, removed the dividing wall between kitchen & dining room to open up the room, replaced the (2) old wooden deck railing with new vinyl railing, etc. We've also removed dated paneling that was throughout the first floor & stairway, replaced with drywall & painted.

Last year we purchased new living room furniture. This year we updated furniture throughout bedrooms and installed new mini blinds where needed.

Unfortunately, we have no other window to mount an additional a/c unit in the first floor, but we'll look into having a wall unit installed, which would mean cutting through the brick exterior. We do have fans and ceiling fans.

It's always difficult to find an excellent cleaning company in Ocean City, but please contact us upon arrival if our home is not as clean as it should be and we will have the cleaning company reclean.
