A perfectly lovely spot!

Our family of four (the boys are 15 and 21) had a wonderful week in this home. It was quite spacious, beautifully decorated in a shabby-chic style, clean and fully functioning. The lakeside deck extends the entire length of the house, and we enjoyed the views from the rocking chairs and picnic table. The dock was new and the perfect height to use with our own dingy. There was a great little beach-type entry to walk into the lake for swimming, or to launch a kayak. We couldn't get over how clear the lake water was. The gardens were lovely and there was plenty of parking for both our cars. Inside, the rooms were cozy and comfortable, with tons of great games, books, and magazines for all ages. The kitchen was very well equipped, including a dishwasher and complete cooking pots and utensils. Although the house is in a quiet location, Wolfeboro is only a 15-minute drive away. Our quiet family especially enjoyed the relative calm of Lake Wentworth during a late-summer week. We hated to leave!
