Photos and Description of the Lake Anna vacation apartment rental

The rental portion of this house is upstairs, a great room, cathedral wood ceiling, and glass on two sides for a nice view of the lake, with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. There is a large deck all around the great room also with a beautiful waterfront view. The downstairs one bedroom unit is reserved for the owner. The great room is comfortably furnished and includes TV, with DVD/VCR, and sound system. The kitchen is nicely equipped with a fridge (ice maker), electric stove, toaster and all the essentials, dishes, glasses, pots, pans etc. Large dinner table (seats 8), stand up bar at kitchen bedroom 1, full sized bed,1 large dresser, night stands and its own bath, and walk in closet. Bedroom 2, two twin beds, 1 dresser and 1 desk, and closet Bath, (between bedroom 2 and 3), a full bath with a 2 sink vanity, all mirrored. Bedroom 3, one full sized bed, 2 dressers and a comfy chair, and closet. The deck is large and surrounds the great room on 2 sides.

Location: Virginia < USA

Another feature of this location is that its just a short walk to Elk Creek Country Store. If your not familiar with the area, it’s rural, and quiet, a 20 min. drive to to the town of Mineral and a grocery store. It’s great to just walk over and get what you need from Elk Creek (fishing worms for example or an ice cream for dessert) Nearby attractions. Kings Dominion, ( a Paramount amusement park with great coasters) Downtown Fredricksburg is full of nice little shops and history Civil war buffs will find plenty to explore in the area. You can get to Richmond, Charlottlesville, and Fredricksburg in less than an hour You can get to Washington DC in about 2 1/2 hours.

There is an, outdoor table, six chairs and a chaise lounge, a gas grill, all with a nice view looking out over Lake Anna. Your private waterfront has a great sandy bottom swimming area, to the right of the dock, and a mooring for your jetski. On the left side of the dock you can tie your boat in the boathouse under roof. There is also plenty of room under that roof for you to get out of the sun but still be on the water. There are a few chairs and a chaise at the waterfront. This whole waterfront area is a cove, without obstruction to the main part of the lake, so generally, passing boats don’t enter therefore the cove is quiet. The water is warm too, 80 f or more, late May through July and often warmer in Aug.and early Sept.

This house is amazing. The owner Ray is very helpful and went above and beyond to help us out. The house is very clean and very well maintained. It had everything you would need for a great vacation. The water was really nice and warm and there is a sandy area right near the dock. There was good fishing off the dock and a ramp in the neighborhood for a jet ski.The house is in a cove so it is very quiet. It is also a great location because there is a gas station and a convenience store right near the neighborhood. It was a really wonderful vacation and I can't wait to go there again!

This rental property exceeded all my expectations.

First, the property is incredibly nice. 3 rooms, living room, kitchen, etc. It also has everything you need, I even found playing cards, a phonebook, and any utensil you would need.

Then there is the waterfront. There is a perfect area for swimming and relaxing. It is like your own area because there are no other houses around. You get to ride a golf cart around. Also, there is a jet ski mooring and a boat. The fishing was pretty good too. Unfortunately, my girlfriend didn't catch any, but I caught 15 fish in two days which is hard to beat. There is a store within walking distance for food/beer/supplies.

Finally, the owner is a great guy. Whenever we needed help he always helped. You actually want him to be around and are much better off when he is. He helped us tow our jet ski away when we brought the wrong trailer ball.

In summary, this was such a great experience. I am now simply going to stay in contact with the owner because it just doesn't make sense to rent another property. I always try to be objective, but couldn't think of any negative aspects of this property. Hope this helps everyone!
