Imagine returning after a fun filled day of skiing, hiking or snowshoeing to a beautiful, new log sided home. Relax in front of the gorgeous field stone fireplace while your children play in the finished lower level stocked with games, puzzles, TV, stereo, CD player, DVD player, VCR, and ping pong table. Prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen that opens to a living room with a cathedral ceiling. There is plenty of room for two to three families to share, with two master bedrooms, a bunk room, a pull out couch and three bathrooms. A two car garage allows for an easy and warm exit to the mountains. In the warmer weather spend your days swimming, fishing or boating on a private, 400 foot sand covered beach on South Pond. No matter what your family's passions, there are plenty of activities to keep everyone happy! Best skiing in New England is less than a cup of coffee away at Sunday River. Great family skiing (including night skiing), tubing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing are only 5 minutes away at Mt Abram. Hiking, biking (road and mountain), golfing, swimming, boating, kayaking, fishing will more than satisfy and challenge the outdoor enthusiast. Enjoy both fine dining and fun filled casual nights out in Bethel. Enough shopping that any purse can handle at the quaint shops in Bethel or the outlet stores of North Conway (only 45 minutes away).

We stayed her with three couples, two little kids and a dog and the house could not have been more comfortable. The second floor bedroom is closed off unlike most loft homes and was great for those of us that wanted to hit the slopes in the morning. A full bath on every level was also nice. The kitchen is well equiped and the basement is fully finished and well done. Having a garage was also great for those of us up and out early. Tara was great to work with and was prompt with any questions we had before and during the stay. I look forward to renting from them again.

What a Great Place!!!

This cabin was the greatest deal for that area. It was very very comfortable and my whole family had a great time. The beds were soft, the couch was cushy, and the kitchen area was a great social place. The fire place was warm and comfy. We will definitly go back to this cabin, winter or summer time. Thanks for a fantastic time!!

Great 4 day ski trip

Our family spent four nights here in January 2010 and had a great time. There was plenty of room for seven people and the play room in the cellar was great for the kids. We liked having the entryway (with a nice mudroom) in the cellar which kept the main living areas warmer and cleaner. The whole house was well equipped and nicely furnished, especially the kitchen. Some of the major bonuses for us of the house were the satellite TV, wireless broadband access, the pet friendliness, and the proximity to the ski areas, Mt. Abram and Sunday River. Mt. Abram is a great family place. One can arrive at Mt. Abram at 10:00am and still park within a couple of hundred feet of the lodge and the prices are significantly lower than Sunday River.

Tara Whitney, the owner was very easy to deal with and very accommodating. She was helpful and allowed us to checkout later than normal since nobody was arriving after us. The whole experience from start to finish was so stress free and enjoyable, we are already planning a trip back in March and possibly this summer.

This is a definite winner.

Wonderful ski house!

We stayed in this house for the first 4 nights of February vacation and enjoyed it immensely. We had 3 families with young kids and having the additional room in the basement, which was stocked with toys, videos and most importantly air hockey and ping pong tables, made the weekend so enjoyable for everyone! The kitchen was so well equipped as well, which is a rarity in a rental. We also found the beds to be extremely comfortable. The owners of the house have also been a pleasure to deal with and did everything possible to make the stay very enjoyable!

It was also nice having the very large mudroom in the entry to store all of the ski stuff. Plenty of room for everyone's gear - it all stayed warm, and out of the way.

We skiied at Sunday River, which we have always loved and is an easy 15-20 minute drive away. We did not go to Mt. Abram, but it is very close.

We definitely highly recommend this house!

Beautiful Secluded Villa

Our family spent a week at this wonderful vacation home, and our expectations were far exceeded! The kitchen was well equipped, the house was spacious, and the game room keep up busy when we weren't exploring the Bethel area. Our teenagers improved their air hockey and ping pong skills, and they also enjoyed eating s'mores and lighting sparklers by the outdoor campfire. If you are looking for a home away from home, you will surely enjoy staying here!
