Awash in bright blue hydrangeas in July and August, this lovely house is located in Naushop. Cheerful and bright throughout, this Nantucket family home is beautifully decorated and nicely appointed. The front door leads into a center hall and to the right is the dining room with adjoining large, sunny well equipped kitchen. Off of the center hall to the left is a cozy den with bookshelves, a writing desk, and a queen-sized pull-out sofa for extra guests. The living room is in the back of the house and features a beautiful fireplace and mantle and built-in bookshelves complete with cable TV, DVD, VCR, stereo, as well as, numerous games and puzzles. Sliding glass doors open on to a nice sized and very private yard and stone terrace bordered by flowers and a rose-covered shed. On the second floor there is a large master bedroom with a king-sized bed, dressing area and bath. Two additional bight and sunny bedrooms with twin beds in each and a shared hall bath complete the upstairs.

The house is 1 and 1/2 miles from the quaint cobblestoned town of Nantucket with its interesting and varied shop and restaurants. It is also about 1 and 1/2 miles from the nearest beach and a quick bike ride from the south shore beaches and Miacomet golf course. Also to be enjoyed are biking on the many bicycle paths, walking or jogging in Conservation land, sailing, surfing, fishing, to name but a few Nantucket activities.
