Large ranch style home on double lot.

Huge kitchen and dining area with all of the amenities. Recently added new raised stone patio off back slider with built-in fire pit. New enclosed outdoor shower. Living room and bedrooms all recently painted and upgraded to hard flooring. No carpets!

Your family will love you for experiencing one of the greatest jewels in New England with them. Located in beautiful Westerly, RI in trendy South County, this great family home allows superb access to the treasured, Weekapaug salt pond and gorgeous RI beaches. Feel free to explore the local area, with miles upon miles of gorgeous beachfront, salt ponds, fishing boats and charters teaming with fresh fish and lobster, or spectacular local seafood restaurants & pubs.

In our home you'll find a nice open floor plan with great areas for entertaining, relaxing and playing games. The kitchen is fully applianced and equipped with all the comforts of home including an ice maker, coffee maker, microwave, oven range, and all the utensils you'll need to prepare your lunches or dinner time feasts. The living room is great for watching television or watching movies, or for relaxing with a book.

The den/dining area allows access to the enclosed back yard by way of a slider. There are 3 bedrooms on the first floor and all have dressers and closets. (You'll provide your own linens please.) Open the windows slightly at night and turn on the attic fan and you'll sleep like a baby with the warm, beach air flowing through the house.

Outside you'll enjoy an enclosed rear yard with a gas grill for cooking and a patio that is perfect for dining and socializing. Don't ever bother showering in either of the two indoor bathrooms. The outside shower and changing area is spectacular and refreshing, especially first thing in the morning or at sunset. The yard is perfect for a game of bocci or croquet, or for sunbathing.

The home was great. we had a lot of fun in the yard and using firepit and patio. Outdoor shower was clean and big. Kids loved the big yard to play in and quiet streets for bike riding. We didnt realize it was so close to the pond. We went down everynight crabbing! fun vacation. Thank you!

One year it was hard-wood floors, another year it was a gorgeous stone patio and fire-pit and another time it was a newly remodeled bathroom. The location of a treelined quiet street near the beach and shopping areas, and a walk-to or ride a bike to a local beach breakfast spot/candy store and the magnificent beach make each morning a pleasure. GREAT STAY - CLEAN AND LIKE HOME AWAY FROM HOME

We have been staying at this home since 2005 and have always had a great stay. The home was clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable beach vacation. The outdoor shower was exactly what we needed after a long day at beach and the patio perfect for an envying of s'mores and steaks and cocktails with family. We will be back next year!

The most obvious reason you're on a vacation like this is to enjoy some of the most beautiful water that New England has to offer. And you will not be disappointed! Rhode Island beaches are some of the best around. The sand is silky smooth at the Dunes Beach, where you will provided a pass to enjoy every day. Parking is close to the water and is readily available. The water is crystal clear and the jetty is great for kids to catch crabs and explore what the ocean has to offer. What most people miss is what you'll have direct walking access to. The salt pond! This is a habitat that cannot be described. It has to be experienced.

Right down the street from the house, you can walk in to a crystal clear salt water fed pond that flushes daily with the ocean tides. It is great for relaxing on the sand bars at low tide, fishing for striped bass or fluke & flounder, kayaking, snorkeling & diving, or getting a great appetizer of clams on the half shell. (Check RI laws for permits please.)
