Waterfront custom Cape overlooking Crystal Lake towards East Chop Drive. There is a large manicured lawn and garden with a path to the lake and a row boat for your enjoyment. Sit on the large deck with an 8'x15' hot tub/ lap pool, outdoor shower and enjoy the view, or grill on your brick water-view patio. A very peaceful location, yet a five minute drive to Circuit Ave, East Chop Light, and the beaches of Oak Bluffs. Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs ferries are also a five minute drive. A great area for the kids to play and get around very easily. Also lovely walking paths nearby for birdwatchers. This well-maintained, well-equipped house offers linen and towels, bicycles, and is loaded with amenities. The first floor offers a large modern kitchen, breakfast bar open to the dining room and a large living room all with views of a lovely yard, Crystal Lake, and Vineyard Sound oceanfront beyond. There is also a sun room, 2 bedrooms, and 1.5 baths on this floor.

This was the perfect roomy and very clean home for 8 girlfriends for the week. The views and landscaping are tremendous. The lap pool was used every day. The house furnishings were impeccable. We had loads of fun jumping on the inground trampoline. We enjoyed using the bikes. Beds are very comfortable. Very quiet tranquil setting. Tons of cookware in the pantry--even a lobster cooker. Gorgeous back deck for morning coffee. Great location. We often walked into town. All of us gave it a TEN and we're pretty picky. The owner was always close by if we had questions or needed something. This home is a great find.

A true home away from home, only better!

We stayed at this beautiful home and couldn't have asked for a more perfect place. The owners, Lisa & Jack are amazing. Truly wonderful and generous people. We had 5 kids ages 5 and under, 1 only 6 weeks old and they had it all covered. A crib for the baby, loads of activities & toys, an inground trampoline & a nice lap pool. Mornings on the deck, enough space to have a dinner party w/friends & family and great views from every window. Everything from the kitchen & baths to all the beds are well-appointed and really a dream. The location is great, not too far from almost anything you'd like to do yet private & quiet. We missed out on getting this place for our vacation this year but hope to book for next year!

--My Mom & her sisters all stayed here as well and still rave about the place!

Run don't walk to this property

Oak Bluffs Gal at Heart New York

My family and I stayed at this lovely home in 2005. It was the nicest house
we've ever stayed in in the 10 years we've been going to the Vineyard. We
were there for two weeks and we felt as if we belonged there.

The house was very well appointed throughout. The kitchen is a very
important room for me and this one was well stocked with utensils, pots,
dishes and glasses. Contrary for some, I really enjoy cooking and
entertaining when we're on the Vineyard so working in this kitchen was a
pleasure.

Jack and Lisa gave excellent customer service. That term is actually a bit
cold - they treated us like friends from the moment we arrived. This was a
relief because it was the first house we rented through an online site. But
the house was just as it was pictured and the views were spectacular. We
would sit out on the back deck to have our morning coffee and watch the sail
boats float by.

Another excellent feature was the trampoline. They were so clever to set it
in the ground so that it was a mere inches above the ground. The boys loved
it! There were also a variety of swings where the girls would go to take
naps. The lap pool was fun for everyone and easy to use.

If you don't know the Vineyard, then this is the place for you. It's a
short distance to downtown Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven is not much
farther. Easy access to anywhere you might want to go and yet secluded
enough to feel like you are away from it all.

If you haven't been able to tell, I'm a huge fan of the house, the owners
and the Vineyard. Run don't walk to this property.
