Photos and Description of the Folly Beach vacation condo rental sleeps 8; 3 BR; 3 BA; w/pool access.

Oceanpointe Unit #104 was completed Jan 2005. It has 3 b/r; 3 baths & two fabulous decks overlooking the ocean. You will have to cross a crosswalk to get to the ocean which is near the base of the porches but the view is perfect and not blocked. All rooms have baths and TVs. Master BR has a king with a Jacuzzi in the bath and it's own private balcony where you can watch the waves roll in! The first floor bedroom has a queen & the third bedroom as a queen & a daybed/trundle (sleeps 4). All bedrooms have TV's. The den has a fabulous large balcony with a table seating 4 and a comfy chaise lounge where the ocean breeze blows in. The kitchen table seats 8 (with the added leaf) & 3 at the bar as well as 4 at the outdoor table. It has all new stainless appliances & granite countertops/hardwoods. The dishes are bright & festive & the kitchen has everything needed for the chef in the family. All new furnishings in this condo are PLUSH

The condo boasts majestical views of the Atlantic Ocean and a view of surfers riding waves near the Folly Pier. Dolphin watchers and shell pickers will love this place! The shopping district, restaurants and pier are all just two blocks over. Within short walking distance are activities such as Center Street shopping and restaurants, jet- ski rentals, parasailing, bicycle rentals, the pier ($5 a day pole rentals), surf shops and surfboard rentals. In Charleston there are many activities such as viewing the Battery, Rainbow Row, The Market, the aquarium, King Street shopping, Dock street live theater, and much more. There are many antebellum homes and gardens to view as well as many sites for the civil war buff such as Fort Sumter, the Hunley submarine and more.

Mattresses are top notch. Washer/dryer is in the unit, an outdoor shower and private, reserved covered parking that will hold up to three cars. The townhouse is two story but there is an elevator for the elderly to get to the front door easily and to bring groceries up easily. Also included are games such as Monopoly, Candyland, Scrabble and cards as well as kids DVDs. You will have access to two nearby pools. Smoking only on outside deck. Grilling only in permitted common areas not on porch of townhouse. One of the owners lives nearby in the event assistance is needed. Please see our availability calendar.

Two Wonderful Weeks in Folly Beach

My family has been making the trek from the Philadelphia area to Folly for years now. For our 2009 vacation, we decided to block out two full weeks. We rented this house for a change of pace from where we usually stay and it was awesome! The two-floor layout gives a lot more privacy than a condo--it was furnished beautifully--the views were incredible. We were just steps from the beach, where we spent most of our days.

We also enjoyed having the private parking underneath along with an ample storage area. We could not have asked for more. I am already planning our return as soon as we can escape from PA again.
