not so great vacation

it was the most disgusting home i have ever rented in flordia. the house was dirty inside and out. there was mold growing on the patio furniture, we had dirty sheets on our bed, dirty towels in bathrooms, hair in shower, cockroaches in the house, pool was dirty, worms along the edge of carpet inside, grill broken and need i say more. i called several times to report these things but got no response from the owner. i do have pictures to prove these things and would not recommend this house to none of my friends.
Owner's Response: We have been blackmailed!
The allegations by this guests are false on every count. This negative review is the result of an attempt by these guests to blackmail and extort a refund of half their rental fee after we refused. The other home owners in Lake Berkley Resort have been advised not to rent to these guests in the future.

We just finished major renovations in the home with new furniture, fixtures, bedroom sets with new linen and towels. We have an on site management company that maintains the home and is available for any of the guest's questions or concerns. They always perform a pre-arrival inspection to insure the home is in order before the guests arrive. Unfortunately, the mad mom did not contact the management company until 3 days after their arrival. When the management company investigated their claims, they did not find any of the allegations or complaints to be true. The guests were asked why did they wait until three days to contact them, when it is our policy to encourage guests to report any damage to the property or any other concerns they may have when they first arrive. Their response to this question was a demand for a refund of half of their rental fees, otherwise they threaten to write a poor review of the property if their demand was not met.
