Come enjoy our vacation getaway as we do as a romantic getaway for the two of us; or as a family getaway for the twenty-four of us. Our vacation home is located on beautiful, clear, sand-bottomed Wabana Lake. This home features warm birch & pine wood interior including a stone fireplaced living room. Floors are beautiful, hard-woods and Berber carpets. This lake home has five bedrooms and three bathrooms. The master bedroom features a mission style king-size bed. Bedroom 2: king size bed. Bedroom 3: queen size bed. Bedrooms 4 & 5: double beds. The second floor bedroom also has two single beds and a private 1/2 bath. The unfinished lower level serves as a bunk-room with 1 double bed, 3 bunk beds, 2 twin beds and a sleeper sofa. Our family room has a gas fireplace. A second stone fireplace with woodstove is located in the lower level as well as a 3/4 bath.

Location: Minnesota < USA

Wabana Lake is located near the Chippewa National Forest and connects by water to Trout and Blue Water Lakes. Swimming and fishing in the summer. Fishing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling in the winter. Giants Ridge golf and ski area is 1.5 hours away at Biwabic. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping opportunities in Grand Rapids also.

Great experience at Birch Bay Lodge

Just returned from a 4 night stay at BBL. Great interaction with owner, calls & email were responded to promptly. The property exceeded our expectations, there were 6 of us and everyone had plenty of room, home was clean & well maintained and it was a comfortable atmosphere for everyone. Cooked all meals at the lodge and the kitchen was large enough and well stocked. Great campfire location although a bit of a walk from the house it did not pose a problem. Our group was unanimous that we would happily stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. And it was literally a home. It was a perfect setting for relaxation and a good place for clearing one's mind. Our children loved the amount of space and all the rooms to explore.
