High on a bluff overlooking Lake Dillon and the Continental Divide, this modern, three bedroom condo is perfect for reunions or a fun-filled vacation. The beautiful condo provides gorgeous views - from two private balconies - and a central Summit County location close to activities for every season.

The condo is within 15 minutes of four Summit County Ski Areas – Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, and Copper Mountain - and within 35 minutes of Vail.

Sleeps eight to ten comfortably with queen beds in master and guest bedroom, four bunk beds in third bedroom and queen sofa sleeper in living room. The clubhouse offers an indoor pool, hot-tub and sauna - perfect for relaxing your muscles and warming you up after a full day of skiing. Amenities include gas fireplace, covered parking, and a 32 inch color TV with surround sound, cable, and a DVD player. There is no landline telephone but great cell phone service. There is free wi-fi in the condo.

We seek to make our condo a home away from home for you and your family and friends by providing a DVD library, game drawer, and a fully stocked kitchen for your use and enjoyment. We have also compiled our own simple guide to the area, with maps and directions to places of interests, recommended activities and restaurants, and our tips for getting the most out of your stay in beautiful Dillon!

About The Owner

We moved out to Colorado 25 years ago after we fell in love with the state on a backpacking trip for our honeymoon. We found ourselves taking frequent weekend trips up to the mountains with our daughter, and the Lake Dillon area became a favorite because of its beautiful environment, access to numerous activities for every season, and proximity to Denver. Now that we have our own condo in Dillon, we continue to take weekend trips up there in the summer and fall, and ski vacations in the winter. We also enjoy sharing our condo and the beauty of the area with family and friends.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2004

What makes this condo unique

Our condo is perfectly located for all the activities we love:

*We walk 3 minutes down to the Dillon Marina and rent a sailboat to sail around the lake.

*We drive 15 minutes to Copper Mountain or Keystone to enjoy a day on the slopes.

*We get on the bike path right in front of the condo to bike to Keystone (for mom) or all the way up to Vail Pass (for dad).

*We go swimming at the Silverthorne Rec Center and then go shopping at the Outlet Stores.

*We mosey in to town for meals at some of our favorite restaurants, like the Dillon Dam Brewery.

Then, we return home to a warm fire and balconies with beautiful views to enjoy the evening.

The condo was definitely what we were looking for....beautiful location! Though it is a little dated, it had everything we needed for our stay and was roomy. The family above was super loud, though nothing to the fault of the condo owners, hopefully they could talk to the association about that particular owner. Otherwise everything was flawless and we could not have asked for a better place to stay! They made the processes very very easy which is a super ++++ when traveling and using site like this one! Would recommend to family and friends for sure-

Wonderfully cozy and close to everything!

My family and I spent three nights here before Thanksgiving and it was a perfect way to kick off the holidays! We lounged by the fireplace, baked cookies in the fully stocked kitchen, explored Frisco and Breckenridge (both within a 20 minute drive) and watched holiday movies. My husband and daughter found hiking and show-shoeing nearby and the lake right out the door provided a great stroll for the babies and me. The bunk beds and collections of movies and games make this rental perfect for our family. We were there a few days before the children's activities opened at Keystone or Breckenridge (our kids are too young to ski), so we hope to be back to check out the tubing hills and other kids activities later in the season. We would definitely rent this condo again. We also found the owners quite pleasant and easy to work with. We had to make some adjustments to our dates and they were quite accommodating and easy to get a hold of.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

Great condo for 4th of July getaway! Perfect location for biking, hiking, shopping in Frisco and relaxing with a glass of wine on the balcony. The condo was more than we expected - spacious, clean and very comfortable for our family getaway with our one year old son. Neighbors are friendly and owners were extremely helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Your Problem is not Owner's Problem

Welcome to the 80’s – if you enjoyed the early 80’s you’ll enjoy this condo; no shag – that was the 70’s! There are a couple things though that you should know about the actions of the owner of this condo. If you have any problems at this condo, don’t count on any help from this owner. My family rented and prepaid for this condo in September, 2013, for a few days of relaxation, enjoying views of Lake Dillon and surrounding mountains.

Upon arrival at the condo we found ladders, paint cans, and wet paint signs surrounding the exterior of the condo. After entering the unit we discovered that the windows and sliding doors were all taped over with translucent plastic and the odor of paint pervading the unit. We immediately emailed the owner to register the problems we encountered since we were from out of state and had no alternative accommodations (email was the method of communication used through the reservation process). The plastic stayed on the exterior windows and doors until the last night of our visit. We received no response from the owner until after our second email when we had returned home after our visit.

We requested half our money back, which is in keeping with the equivalent cost of staying at the Days Inn in Silverthorne to compensate us for the paint odors and lack of view from the condo. No great view from the Days Inn, but at least no paint odor! Rather than splitting the cost of the stay as we thought would be reasonable, we received an email from the owner’s lawyer stating, “We did not guarantee a specific experience, but rather the provision of lodging, which you utilized.”

So - - - just a warning: if there is a problem with your stay, don’t count on help from the owner or on a reasonable resolution of your problems. That would include lack of responsibility for paint overspray on a car, too.

Owner's Response: We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay at our condo. It was unfortunate that the condo association's contractor scheduled painting of the building's exterior during your stay. As we responded to you directly, talking with the condo association's manager as advised would have quickly resolved any issue you had.

We are also sorry that our partial refund of your rent and our intervention with the painting contractor to cover any damages you might have incurred did not satisfy you.

We think our three bedroom condo is much nicer and in a much better location than the Days Inn, as other reviewers have confirmed.
