This condo is dirty and unkept!!!

I just got back from a vacation at Disney with my family, including my two young children that are 6 and 4 years old. We stayed in this condo that had a good location to Disney and a nice pool. However, the condo was the dirtiest I ever stayed in. The carpets in the bathrooms looked like they had not been cleaned in weeks, maybe even months. The carpets throughout the condo were vacuumed, but filthy. The shower curtain was dirty. In addition to the dirty conditions, the toilet in the master bathroom was not bolted to the floor. When someone sat on it, it would move. There was also a strong smell of urine in this bathroom due to the seal not being tight. I did contact the owner, who offerred to send someone out to clean the condo. However, it was alrteady half-way through our stay. She kept stating that she wished I would have contacted her earlier, however the bottom line is I should not have had to deal with these conditions. I also requested my cleaning fee returned, however never received response regarding this. She stated that she had some plumbing issues and that the plumbers must not have re-attached the toiliet correctly. AGAIN, not my issue and not something that should happen while on vacation. In addition, the dryer was broken and we never were able to use it. This was another inconveneince myself and my famliy had to deal with. The porch light in the front of the cono was burnt out. My vacation to Disney World was great, however it was overshadowed due to the poor conditions of the condo. I did e-mail the owner about all these things and she assured me that everyone else has been happy with the condo and my expectations must be high. I feel I am a resonable woman and I have adequate expectations for a condo. All I can say, that in my life, this is the dirtiest condo that I have ever stayed in and I would have appreciated someone else's candidness when looking for a condo prior to my vacation. I strongly suggest that if you want a clean and kept-up place, that you look elsewhere.

It is unfortunate that this renter did not call me immediately as the problems would have been resolved immediately. She emailed me instead and mistakenly it went into my SPAM folder. Upon learning of the problems two days later, I offered a major cleaning of the villa; however, they refused my offer. I believe that problems can be solved when communication takes place. All of the problems that they incurred were quickly resolved. A new washer and dryer is in place and the bathroom mats and curtain were replaced. The toilet seat has been sealed and the villa had a major cleaning.
