A Nantucket classic, antique residence with stylish 'beach cottage' decor, Barn House is a smoke free house and is available for rent by the week, month or season or off-season. Barn House is convenient to shopping, town, and the beaches. House Description: The first floor has one bedroom with a full-size bed and attached full bath. The common areas on the first floor are recently renovated. The gourmet kitchen has new cabinets and appliances and a breakfast bar. The dining room has a large harvest table for family meals. The living room is comfortable and stylish with a color television, DVD/VCR player and stereo/CD player. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room. The second floor has one bedroom with two twin beds and one bedroom with king bed (can convert to twins). There is a second floor bath with double vanity and tile shower. There is a charming one room cottage, attached to the house with its own separate entrance off patio area, with queen bed and shower bathroom.

We had the perfect vacation! Weather was wonderful, only one rainy day. Staying at the Barnhouse was the perfect choice for us. Close enough to walk to town, and a great value ($$). I really couldn't think of anything the house didn't have for us. Extremely well equipped for all our needs. A lovely home, beautifully decorated with "Nantucket Flair!" We could not have been happier!! Definately will come back next year, just working out if we can take 2 weeks vacation this time!
Thanks for providing a relaxing, cozy, retreat, home away from home!

This property was perfect in every way. Terririfc location (walk to town, bike to beaches, golf, grocery store, etc). Wonderfully decorated-- beachy, cozy, clean and classic. House was equipped with everything you could possibly need. Substantial and landscaped fenced yard (a necessity for us since we brought our dog).

We definitely plan on returning next year!

We absolutely loved the Barnhouse. It was perfect for our family. My mother-in-law especially liked her own space in the cottage room. We thought the location was great, walking to town in about 15 minutes through the beautiful historic streets and close enough to our favorite beach, Surfside. Even though we did bring our car, we rode our bikes everywhere. The house had absolutely everything we could need. The kitchen is better stocked than my own! The toy box was opened daily! We had 1 rainy day and the movie collection was perfect. Our vacation could not have been more perfect at the Barnhouse. We have already booked 2 weeks next summer! Can't wait.

We just finished a fantastic week at The Barnhouse! What a beautiful sanctuary just minutes away from town and the beach. I can not say enough about the beauty of the home and Nantucket itself. We are still raving about!
