The location of this apartment was in a great area and allowed for us to walk everywhere in Rome. Down the street from The Colosseum and even a great pace from the Vatican. The apartment was small, but nice and new. If you have multiple people be aware you may be falling over one another. As far as apartment rentals I have done this is one of the less customer service oriented ones I have dealt with. We arrived early and were waiting on the steps to meet and go up to the apartment. We did not expect early service, but had just arrived early and were waiting till the appointed time. The apartment was not ready for us when the meeting time arrived. When we were left in the apartment only one bed had been made (the one above the couch). There were two of us and we planned on sleeping on the bunks. Those beds had been left with dirty sheets on them. My friend slept on the couch while letting me sleep on the bed. There is no hand soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. While a small store is a couple blocks away no other rental I have been involved with has left dirty sheets and had a lack of basics for the people staying in the apartment. The owner made us feel that we were not welcome and without knowing us that we could be a problem. I do hope all this was a one time issue, but I wish it had not been our issue. If you rent here it worked for us as a nice place and great location, but be prepared to need some simple amenities.

Owner's Response: These guests arrived around noon one hour before the time agreed just after the previous guests had left the apartment. Nobody can expect to have an apartment ready before 3pm if there are guests leaving on the same day. We are flexible and we allow to leave the luggage and stay even during the cleaning...
The booking was for two persons without specifying that they needed two beds. In this case we prepare only a double bed assuming it is a couple. If these two ladies would have called me or told the cleaning lady that they needed two beds, it would not have been a problem! But I am discovering with this message that they needed two separate beds!
The couch and the bunk beds had no dirty bed linen ( which were taken out of the apartment of course! ) , they just had a cover on it to protect the matresses!!!
We leave one toilet paper roll for the first day, one plastic bag in the kitchen inside the bins and the rest has to be purchased by the guests. This is our policy. If the previous guests leave salt, spices, vinegar, oil, coffee... we just leave it for the next guests. But some prefer to buy their own basics and throw the old one.
12 years of rental and never a complain!
