Approached via a private road through the vineyards, the Bastide is a beautifully secluded peaceful haven within easy reach of St Tropez, and the delightful hilltop villages of Ramatuelle and Gassin. The villa offers wonderful amenities for all the family, with space to spend time together or for each to find their own tranquillity.
This spacious villa (750m2, of which ca. 600m2 is available to guests) with flexible accommodation has a welcoming and airy feel with its stylish yet understated décor and furnishings. All bedrooms are en-suite. Air-conditioning throughout with individual controls in each room. Amenities include 16m x 8m pool, jacuzzi, table-tennis, air-hockey table, private tennis court, boules court, indoor/outdoor sound system, WiFi, UK Sky TV in family lounge and some bedrooms, DVDs, CDs, Wii. The property is equipped with smoke alarms and security alarm.
Enter the villa into a spacious open-plan lounge with fireplace and dining room looking out the stunning sea view. Through an ornate archway to the left is a TV snug area. To the right is the fully equipped kitchen, which in turn adjoins both the dining room (3m long dining table) and the summer kitchen/bbq terrace with round dining tables, and sofas overlooking the pool area.
The villa is surrounded by impressive gardens and terraces with fantastic views from the plateau in all directions.
Helicopter landings are permitted directly in the grounds.
The resident ‘gardien’ couple live on-site in a self-contained apartment on the lower ground floor. They are discreetly and reassuringly on-hand should you require any assistance.

This pretty provençal-style bedroom is situated on the main level of the villa, in a wing alongside two further bedrooms. Tall windows opening out onto views of the rose garden and hillsides.

Downstairs on the lower ground level, below the main level bedrooms, is another double room with sofa. It also has a tv (limited channels) and access to the garden.
A further twin room is located on the ground level, at the opposite end of the villa away from the other bedrooms. Tv (limited channels). This room has a window but no outdoor view. Please note: situated beneath the kitchen area and adjacent to the laundry, this bedroom is mainly suitable for older children/teens, or staff.
Enter the villa into a spacious open-plan lounge with fireplace and dining room. The high ceiling, and mezzanine balconies, draw you straight through to a stunning view with an expanse of lush lawn and the sparkling mediterranean.
Relax on the lounge terrace or on the comfortable sofas, or out on the covered summer kitchen terrace overlooking the pool and sea.

Enjoy indoor or outdoor dining… conveniently situated next to the main kitchen, the summer kitchen has lovely views out to the pool, sea, gardens and vineyards. With a large charcoal barbecue and round tables to seat everyone, leading onto a pretty terrace with pergola, it is often the social hub of the villa.
The indoor dining room is also adjacent to the kitchen, with a 3m long dining table. For cooler evenings outside the main season you can still enjoy views over the garden and through the summer kitchen.
Our kitchen is fully equipped, to enable catering for small or large numbers. The central island with westhal gas hob, central wok and plancha, has seating for five for tea-times or socialising. Along with 2 full-size gaggenau ovens, warming drawer, microwave, coffee machine, Magimix XL food processor, double sink, american fridge-freezer, additional full-size fridge, and fast-cycle dishwasher, plenty of cupboard space makes for an easily-organised kitchen.
With so many amenities for the young and the not-so-young right here, many guests quite simply spend their time in the fabulous 16m x 8m pool or lounging around the pool and jacuzzi area listening to music from the sound system, playing tennis on private court (rackets provided), or table-tennis, boules (large boules area near the summer kitchen), or air-hockey. Or simply find a quiet terrace overlooking the Bay of Gigaro, the islands, or the gardens and relax with a good book or some music.
Gardens and terraces:
The villa is in a unique location surrounded by impressive gardens and terraces with fantastic views from the plateau in all directions. Approached through the vineyards and views of open countryside towards the hilltop village of gassin, the sweeping drive leads you round the olive trees and oleanders to the scent of lavender at the front of the house. Lush green lawns and Mediterranean flower-beds to the rear lead your gaze to the amazing sea view, punctuated by palm trees and olive trees and shady mulberry trees on the far terrace overlooking the tennis court and the Bay of Gigaro and the islands.

The villa is located in an official site of 'outstanding natural beauty' (Site Remarquable), with beautiful vistas in every direction. Very private and yet close to local village amenities and to a choice of family-friendly or more secluded beaches. All the sites and attractions of the Golfe de St Tropez are within easy reach.
Helicopter landings are permitted; we are just 20 minutes from Nice airport by helicopter.
