Walk through the cathedral foyer into a large fully equipped kitchen that opens onto the wrap-around deck. First floor has washer/dryer and upstairs you will find 2 large bedrooms with a large tiled bathroom. The following are minutes from the home: 'Gourmet Dining' with wine and cheese shop and brewery, walk to country store having natural foods, made to order sandwiches,pizza and ice cream, Fresh lobster at the Trenton Bridge or catch the free eco-friendly bus to shuttle you around the Island This is a very comfortable home to spend your vacation away from the noise and traffic and a great base for exploring the Island and Acadia Park. This home is within easy access to Acadia National Park with hiking trails and over 50 miles of carriage roads for biking. If you prefer, utilize the Island Explorer, a free eco-friendly bus shuttle service which is within walking distance to explore the village of Bar Harbor. There is a fresh water lake with sand beach about 3 miles away and lots of shopping to do on those rainy days or sit and relax and do nothing. We also have Kebo Valley Golf Course with a full pro shop and clubhouse restaurant on the Island.
