Steps from a private beach on Cape Cod Bay stands a spectacular, five bedroom house. A few miles away is the National Park Service's 'Seashore Visitor's Center' with a history museum and nature exhibits, as well as information about ocean beaches, canoe trips, and other family activities. Eastham is also 30 minutes from Hyannis where one can get on a ferry to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket, and from Provincetown where one can go whale watching. Recreational opportunities include biking on a rail trail, retracing Henry David Thoreau's footsteps, as well as golfing and tennis at nearby facilities. Or, you can just stay home and enjoy walking and swimming on what has been called 'the best family beach on the Cape'.

This Eastham, Massachusetts, residence is one block away from First Encounter Beach. Eastham, a quaint New England township established 350 years ago, is today known as the 'Gateway to the National Seashore.' The National Seashore Visitor's Center, located in Eastham, includes the Cape Cod history museum, as well as information about unspoiled miles of ocean shoreline and acres of beaches. Park Rangers offer guided canoe trips, interpretive walks, and ocean campfires under the stars.

Recent review: Well, where do I begin. I truly want to thank you for giving me and my family the opportunity to stay at Cod Peace last week. What a lovely house you have. Everything needed was there. My wife was so excited when she walked through the door. It is by far the best house we have stayed at in our years of vacationing in CC. The beach was soooo convenient and the kids had so much fun. We have all been spoiled for sure.
