Lakefront year-round cottage on Lake Monomonac: Located on the MA/NH border in the Monadnock Region - excellent for swimming, fishing and boating. Two and 1/2 bedroom completely furnished home, only 10 feet from the water. Dining room and sun/screen porch with a beautiful view of the bay in a 'no wake' boating zone. Home is located on a dead-end road. Private boat dock and side yard with picnic table. Pictures available via email.

Nearest Train: Fitchburg, MA at 30 Miles
Nearest Motorway: US Rt 12 at 4 Miles

Lake Monomonac is an excellent lake for swimming, fishing and boating. Lake is 3.7 miles long with its own marina/restaurant and large enough for water sports. Great area for walking, jogging and cycling on a lightly traveled lake road. Only 5 miles from Wal-Mart, Hannaford, KFC, Dunkin Donuts and other various stores and restaurants. Mt. Monadnock is approx. a 20 minute drive and it is the second most climbed mountain in the U.S. - excellent for hiking. Nearby summer playhouse, and movie theaters approx. 30 minutes away. Mt. Wachusett Ski area only 20 minutes away. Winter sports on lake include snowmobiling, ice fishing, snow shoeing and cross-country skiing from premises.

My overall review is excellent. My family and I arrived for our vacation in June 09 and were instantly greeted by the homeowners which was so welcoming. The house is comfortable the water was wonderful and the fishing was amazing, everyone in my party had a chance to catch bass as big as 8 pounds and crappie as big as 2 pounds. The dock was very accomodating to my 16 foot marlin sportboat. The homeowners even took us out on there pontoon boat for a latenight cruise (Thank You). We will be going back for sure. Thanks Andre & Nancy.

property was neat and clean and roomy enough for everyone. Owners were very nice and were very helpful. Would definetly go back
