My wife and I recently spent the weekend at Meeker Hollow for our anniversary. We couldn't have chosen a better place. When we arrived the fireplace was already stocked with wood, just waiting for a match. Outside there were two bubbling streams. We spent the night in front of the fire, and the day in the hammock by the largest pond. How relaxing!
As for practicalities, we were very impressed with the kitchen. It was very well stocked, with a full spice cabinet and enough dishes and pots to make a three course meal for eight! Jill, the caretaker, made sure that we had everything we needed. The cabin itself was very clean and well maintained.
As well, Kathy, the owner, was very helpful as we were planning our trip. She promptly answered out questions by phone and e-mail and provided us with easy and accurate directions to the cabin, as well as an excellent summary of the cabin's amenities.
We plan to come back to the cabin over the summer, and we will definitely recommend Meeker Hollow to all our friends!
