Our two-family group of 12 had such a nice visit. We loved exploring the area, but were also very happy to just spend time in this lovely home! The setting is so beautiful. We loved sitting on the back patio and taking in the rolling hills and distant mountains. Bass Lake is close; and we even made the 35 minute trip to the Vons in Oakhurst to stock the kitchen for the week. Mark was an excellent host who was there for any needs, but pretty much left us to ourselves.
I recommend this Ranch highly!!! It has everything. We were 2 families traveling with 9 people total and everyone had their own bedroom as well as their own personal space. It is hard to tell from the photos but it is quite spacious. The house is wonderful. It's rustic charm with modern convenience made for a seamless transition. It is thoughtfully laid out and decorated. The property is beautiful and waking up every morning with that view is a genuine treat. The sunset is equally special. There is plenty of room for kids to run around including a tire swing and toy truck that provided endless entertainment. Most of our vacation was spent at the ranch because it was just so relaxing and inviting. We couldn't have asked for a better place. I own and operate 2 VRBO's so I know what it takes to make a place special and they have definitely succeeded. Mark was an excellent host. I truly hope to return.
This was our second stay here at the ranch and once again it was great. Mark is a great host, let's you enjoy your stay and makes you feel as if it is your home. The property is amazing and big. We had a party of 8 adults and 2 kids and we were all comfortable. The pond was dried up but we didn't mind and we miss Snert, his old grounds dog. However, the new pooch, Shep is awesome and super playful. We are already talking about our next trip back to the ranch. If you are thinking about booking a stay here, DO IT! You will not regret it. It is a 10 minute drive to bass lake and about a 40 minute drive to the south entrance of Yosemite. I love this place.
We had a wonderful stay at the Lyn-Mar Pond Guest Ranch. Fun to explore the rolling hills with our dogs along with the resident sweet pup Snert who showed us around. Enjoyed sitting on the terrace watching the sunset, wonderful roaring fires in the fireplace in the evenings, and hikes checking out the cool vintage tractors around the property. Mark was there to answer any of our emails, phone calls or questions, but otherwise let us enjoy the peace & quiet! We definitely would like to return again one day!
We stayed for a four-day week-end to celebrate my mother's ninety-fourth birthday. The youngest member of our group of 16 was 2 years old. We were all comfortable, entertained, and charmed in the stone house. The setting is spectacular. The home is lovely. Mark is a gracious host. And the prices are quite resonable. What more could you ask for? (Ask Mark about Snert. He was a definite plus to our visit.)
