Description of the North Egremont vacation house rental
New private country Cape nestled on 3 acres in North Egremont, MA, with a two car garage. A walk-in mud room with large closet and plenty of coat pegs, continues into a large open kitchen with all modern amenities, spacious walk-in pantry and an extended sit down counter which divides the kitchen from a sunny dining room and open living room which offers great forest and wildlife viewing. Sliding doors off dining room open to screened-in porch and views of a wooded haven. Full bathroom on ground floor with a laundry room behind louvered doors. Staircase leads to a large inviting bedroom with king-size bed, sunny windows and skylight. Hallway connects another full bathroom with skylight and another large bedroom with a full and a twin bed, more sunny windows and a skylight. All amenities included, just bring your clothes, sports equipment, and toiletries. Well-behaved pets will be considered.
Location
Located between Catamount and Butternut Basin ski areas, 20 minutes to Jimminy Peak. A lovely town park across the street which provides cross-country skiing, hiking, basketball, tennis, competitive youth horse shows. A lake 1/2 mile to the west for swimming, skating, ice fishing and boating. Walk 1/4 mile to country convenience store with post office. Cultural attractions abound in Berkshire County and are all close by. Tanglewood Music Center, dance, Jacobs Pillow, Williamstown Theatre Festival and top of the line in-town entertainment. South County is also well known for its numerous antique shops and fine dining to suit all palates Most all attractions are located less than a 20 minutes drive from the house.
