Clean, bright, and tastefully furnished, the house has an open, roomy feel with a 24'x21' living room with cathedral ceiling and a wood stove for warmth and ambiance. The main floor also a large dining room, big fully equipped kitchen, 1/2 bathroom, and tiled mud room with lots of space for golf clubs, skis, boots, coats, etc. The second floor has a master bedroom with king-size bed, second bedroom with full-size bed, and full bathroom. Downstairs, you'll find 2 more bedrooms: one with a twin/trundle bed for two twins or conversion to king and the other with 2 twin beds. The downstairs family room also has a full bath and a sleeper couch with trundle, converting to 2 twin beds. Enjoy this home during any season. Whether you're looking for a peaceful place to get away and relax or a place that keeps you and the kids on the go, you'll love this large but warm and inviting home.

All Things Well-considered

This very clean, spacious home was thoughtfully and tastefully decorated and well-stocked. The owners truly thought of everything a family might need. Our family of five (three children ages 11- 17), plus my in-laws, were very comfortable relaxing during the evening in the large great room, and enjoyed cooking and eating in the nicely outfitted kitchen. The table is huge!

We have rented a number of different places in the area over the past ten years. None has had the attention to detail as this one. The recreation complex is a terrific facility. The kids and adults all enjoy it, and the improvements from two years ago, when we last visited, are lovely.

The owners could not have been nicer -- helpful in answering questions about the home, and providing suggestions for entertainment.

(Don't overlook the sign hanging above the dry bar area; I almost missed it and it provided a welcome chuckle after a long, rainy drive.)

We like this area because it is accessible to many of the tourist areas -- Waterville Valley, Franconia Notch, Polly's Pancakes (about 45 minutes north, but well worth the drive!), and Lincoln area sites.

Great place to stay

This house is beautiful. It is very open and spacious. The house was immaculate and has everything you need. There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own privacy. Not another house in site which made hanging out in the yard nice and quiet. It's a very short drive to the sports complex with pools and hot tubs. The house is on the main road (same as the sports complex) and was a easy drive to get to. I checked out some other houses in the area and the hills are extremely steep (not so for this house). The owners were very easy to work with and went out of their way to help with some special requests. I would recommend this for anyone and definately stay here again.

Home Away From Home!

Our 2 families had a great time. This "Home Away From Home" is truly a very comfy place to stay. There was plenty of room for all of us (4 adults & 5 children). We loved the house layout (spacious 3-level) and all the indoor/outdoor accommodations (very well equipped kitchen, linen, towels, cable, games, swing set...).
The Sports Complex was a big plus on a couple of rainy afternoons (thank you for the supplying passes!).
The short drive to the I-93 highway was very convenient getting around (Polar Caves, Whale's Tale Waterpark were a big hit among our children and very easy access)
Leslie, the owner, was always available & great to work with; she made sure everything was comfortable for us. Thank you so much! We had a wonderful vacation and look forward to renting this property in the future! (we already recommended this vacation property to family & friends!)

I had the distinct pleasure of taking my family up last fall. The Sullivan's keep an amazing house that will accommodate plenty of people. Their efforts made us feel right at home the moment we walked through the door. The area offers a wide variety of things to do within driving distance. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a comfortable getaway with all the ammenities.

Comfy and Cozy.

My family rented this home for the winter season 2009. We were hoping for a home away from home and that is excactly what we got. The house is very welcoming, it's bright and sunny during the day and warm and cozy at night. The layout of the house is perfect for kids and adults. I have two sons and they loved using the activity center for swimming and soaking after skiing. The owners are exceptionally nice people and they were quick to respond to any questions we had. The skiing at Waterville Valley is great. The scenery in the White Mountians is breathtaking. We loved staying here and would recommend this property to family and friends looking for a great vacation home.
