Excellent location for all White Mountain attractions. Has plenty of beds to accommodate 10 people if necessary. However, the unit is located on the lowest level of the building and had a constant smell of mildew or humidity. The humidifier filled up everyday. The cleaning crew from the previous rental did not leave the kitchen very clean, the oven was dirty and the microwave smelled bad.
Owner's Response: Dear future renters, After reading the review given I will take the opportunity to explain some of the review. The review claims that the unit is on the bottom floor which is true. The review claims that because of this it smells of mildew and humidity. I diagree that it smells of mildew. Yes there is humidity because as any one from the northeast knows Augest is the most humid month of the summer. (Someone from Florida should know about humidity) I know for a fact that the oven was clean because I inspected it the day of their arrival. If the renter is expecting the inside of the oven to be spotless then they must put their oven on the clean cylcle after every use. As far as the microwave, I don't know how a microwave started to smell from the morning of thir arrival when I was there and personally cleaned it, to their check in time. We have owned and rented our unit for over four years and this is the first time we have ever had this sort of response. Don't let this review change your mind about renting from us. Please trust the opinions of our satisfied renters, many of which have rented from us several times.
