This lovely 14 year old farmhouse styled home is nestled in a clearing at the foot of the Sandwich Range, Mt. Chocorua right in sight. The wrap-around, partially screened-in porch provides gracious sweeping views as well as relaxing rocking chairs and swings. The house, an open-concept with cathedral ceilings, is abundant with windows and natural light, centering around a comfortable and working fireplace. Interior details include stained-glass windows, farmhouse kitchen, and individual thermostats in picturesque bedrooms. It is a child-friendly house as well (including dress-up box!).

Location: White Mountains < New Hampshire < USA

This home is smack in the middle of hundreds of acres of natural beauty (64 with the house alone). There is a pond on sight for swimming and skating as weather allows, abundant trails on the property and nearby for hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, contemplative walks and hidden swimming holes, with numerous downhill skiing opportunities just 1/2 an hour away. The village of Tamworth, (4 miles down the dirt road) hosts the country's oldest professional Summer theater, as well as a large library and two general stores and year-round cultural events, (Summer and Winter concerts, contra-dancing and The Remick Country Doctor's Museum, just to name a few). North Conway and its famous outlet shopping and the White Mountains generous outdoor opportunities are just 45 minutes away. A hidden peaceful village, but near to StoryLand, Mt.
