Annie's immaculate Nantucket style end unit condo with wireless internet. A half bath & Master bed room w/ sky light and a nice window are on the first floor. My condo has two brick patios The front has a shade tree. We are a few steps to our village private beach. Our galley kitchen has blue counter tops, white sink, new gas stove, dishwasher,.full size refrigerator, white corning ware dishes, lots of pots & pan, coffee maker, etc. Beds: Queen, 1st floor.Double & Single beds, 2nd floor bed room. Sun porch sleeps one & is perfect for reading, dining,or sleeping. Living room has a new, lg. flat screen TV w/ DVD, a desk, an attractive couch & matching chair, a new table which seats six and bar stools at counter top facing into the galley kitchen. Towels and sheets are provided upon request. See pictures of red brick patios with Geranium flower boxes and white picket fences. Sun porch patio has Gas Grill & table set up. The upstairs bedroom is private & has an ocean view, ceiling fan and three bright sunny windows. A large bath, full tub and shower and sky light which opens. A built-in washer/dryer is also in this room. There is always plenty of hot water. A bed is on sun porch which is separated by French Doors from the living room. Newly refinished light, wide pine wood floors adorn this charming cottage. New storm, screen door allows fresh air at any time to flow in. See pictures.
After supper walk back to our private beach to relax on the benches at the top of the bluff, maybe with a glass of wine in hand. See Hyannis and Falmouth in the distance. Feel the cool breezes as you watch the waves, see sand- pipers or kite flying. In the evening or early morn try fishing at the shore line. Take in this natural beaut,y snap photo's, chat with other guests and owners. Walk to cozy Market Place for breakfast, lunch or supper, evening entertainment perfect for children. Good restaurants including Popponesset Inn are at the sight. End your stroll with a home made ice cream cone. The village is an artist & photographer's dream. This quiet cottage allows one to rest and sleep peacefully. There is plenty of parking at this end unit along with a reserved space. Down stairs bed room has a large cream colored, his and her dresser with a lg. matching mirror. This room also has a skylight where the stars and moon can shine in or the window can be closed off with wooden dutch doors.
Sorry, pets are not allowed in the Village.

My husband and I are retired educators who like the ocean and traveling. I am a swimmer and love to swim the length of our ocean beach. I grew up in Boston and this is my coming home to Massachusetts retreat. I have many relatives who live on Cape Cod so this is family time whenever we come to Cape Cod We live in up-state NY with our pet cat who does not travel. We are friends of Opera Saratoga. We often volunteer at the Opera and for other organizations which we are members of. We like people and renting to them. We love both homes.
The village is the perfect place for us to meet with family and friends and for entertaining them. It is a happy place and has lots of good memories of times had. Other owners have become good friends. Maushop Village is well managed which gives me peace of mind. My cottage is a delight to fix up. It is easy to drive to and very relaxing. We like summer theatre and it is close by you will like my place too.
Being close to the ocean and salt water. Feeling the sand between your toes. Smelling the fresh air and cool evening breezes.
Being able to walk or bike to destinations like the Country Club, beach, the Inn, Market place. Best of all to greet happy friends, See beautiful surrounding and to hear the laughter of children playing in the water or sand. They are ready for bed after a day in the sun very early. All is quiet at an early hour. Shopping is close by at Mashpee Commons. Lots of sight-seeing. 20 minutes once crossing Bourne Bridge.
Tides rise, tides fall here at our very private Village beach. If not a sand person just sit at the top of the stairs & stare at the ocean and sand beneath. Wonderful for taking pictures,a swim, sunbathing, reading, fishing building sand castles, bird watching, strolls. Bike or jog around the village and paths. Visit Popponsesset Market Place for a news paper, coffee, pastry. The Market Place is wonderful for breakfast, lunch, dinner or shopping. Entertainment, for children. Evenings: Dine at the Inn, Boat House or New Seabury Country Club. Theatres & Golf cources are close by. Shop at New England-style, Mashpee Commons where special events take place like evening concerts. Restaurants are good & an ice cream cones can end the day. Visit museums like the Sandwich Heritage Museums, Woods Hole, JF Kennedy Museum or take a day trip to the Islands,.National Sea Shore or Whale watching. Churches are near. Our new Mashpee Library w/ museum and childrens room is a great stop especially on a rainy day. People are friendly and you will have the best vacation in years.
