Tides rise, tides fall here at our very private Village sandy beach. If not a sand person just sit at the top of the stairs & stare at the ocean and sand beneath. Wonderful for taking pictures,a swim, sunbathing, reading, fishing building sand castles, bird watching, strolls. Bike or jog around the village and paths. Visit Popponsesset Market Place for a news paper, coffee, pastry. The Market Place is wonderful for breakfast, lunch, dinner or shopping. Entertainment, for children. Evenings: Dine at the Inn, Boat House or New Seabury Country Club. Theaters & Golf cources are close by. Shop at New England-style, Mashpee Commons where special events take place like evening concerts. Restaurants are good & an ice cream cones can end the day. Visit museums like the Sandwich Heritage Museum, Woods Hole, or take a day trip to the Islands. Churches are near. Our new Mashpee Library w/ museum and childrens room is a great stop especially on a rainy day. People are friendly and you will have the best vacation in years.
