Fowl Hill Farm is a beautiful and historic property nestled in the Laurel Highlands of Western Pennsylvania just a few minutes from Seven Springs and Hidden Valley Resorts. Located off Route 711, just 2 miles south of Champion, this property is situated in the heart of this adventure-filled area. There is a century-old farmhouse and cabin, fishing lake and creek, biking and hiking trail, several natural springs and 60 acres of majestic woodlands. The cabin features five spacious rooms all with original hardwood flooring. Recent renovations include a re-designed kitchen with new cabinets, an all-new bathroom and a screened back porch complete with picnic table and charcoal grill.

The cabin has two bedrooms: the master bedroom has a queen bed and queen sleeper and the second bedroom has two queen beds. The living room has one large couch, one love seat, chair, small dining table w/3 chairs, and cable television. A large window in the living room looks out over the bike trail just across the field. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator/freezer, electric range, dishwasher, microwave and eat-in area. There are two large porches to enjoy the outdoors. The back porch is screened and has beautiful views of the woodlands just a few feet away. Nearby is the farmhouse that is occupied by tenants year-round. Our 2-acre spring-fed private lake is home to various species of fish. Guests are permitted to catch-and-release with a fishing license. The Indian Creek Valley Biking/Hiking Trail runs through our property and is accessible at the end of our driveway. At each trail head there are stores to buy a snack before heading back to the Cabin.

Spring and Summer Activities: The Laurel Highlands area has so many great places to visit and explore. In spring and summer, there is fishing in our private lake, bike riding on the trail and walks through the woods here at the cabin. Just minutes away, visit Living Treasures Animal Park, Caddie Shak Fun Park, Idlewild Park and Sand Hill Berry Farm. Shop the local stores and enjoy a baked goodie at the Old Country Pie Shoppe. Outdoor activity abounds at Seven Springs, Hidden Valley, Ohiopyle and the Youghiogheny Lake. Have fun playing golf and tennis, rafting, horseback riding, hiking and biking. Historic sites include Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob and Fort Necessity. Nearby is the Quecreek Exhibit that tells the story of the miraculous rescue of the trapped coal miners. Spend some time remembering the heroes of September 11th at the Flight 93 Memorial near the town of Shanksville.

Fall and Winter Activities: In fall, take a walk along the bike trail just to look at the beautiful autumn leaves and then join the fun at Seven Springs Autumnfest! In winter, head for the slopes for great skiing and snow tubing at Seven Springs and Hidden Valley! During the holiday season, visit Overly's Country Christmas to see the light displays, buy a souvenier at the gift shop, and sip hot chocolate by the bonfire. In nearby Donegal, have breakfast with Santa Claus and visit the Parade of Trees. You might even get to meet one of Santa's reindeer at the Old Country Pie Shoppe!
