Perfect way to de-stress and re-charge

My family and I stayed at this cozy cottage with big amenities July 2012. The space is beautiful with vaulted ceilings on the main level, a gigantic picture window with a calming view of the forest (look just beyond those trees and you'll have an amazing view of the golf course.) The home also has two porches to relax from--which was my perfect get-away within a get-away as I'm an early riser and enjoyed a cup of tea out there before the hubs and kids woke up.
We were invited to stay there after my family and I spent a month crammed in a one room with double bed hotel on the ATL perimeter, having relocated to the area from New Jersey. Walking into this cottage immediately put us in family togetherness mode. We spent the first night eating a home cooked meal and belly laughing about past summers. There is something about the space that just helped facilitate that!
We also enjoyed the nearby amenities: hiking, the pool, (tried the pond, freaked the three-year old out,)
Overall, it's some place we'd love to visit again--maybe in cooler weather so we can enjoy the fireplace!
