One of the most reviewed properties in Avalon. This immaculately maintained five bedroom home is great for two families or for a family with grandparents. It's perfect for four kids and four adults. This tastefully decorated townhome can sleep up to nine. The bedrooms are large; and two come with deck access. Special features include granite-topped counters, hardwood flooring in 2nd floor & designer accessories. Amenities include three TVs, a microwave, a whirlpool bath, one-car garage, and a generous amount of off street parking. Shopping, restaurants, the morning paper & coffee, and kids' fun are all just one block away. Six beach tags are included in your weekly rental. 9 Guest maximum please. Please families only. The Jersey Shore is famous for its boardwalks, arcades, casinos, and seemingly endless miles of beaches. Avalon is an upscale town located on 7 Mile Island in South Jersey with easy access to Atlantic City, Ocean City, Stone Harbor, Wildwood, and Cape May. A day's itinerary can include hiking, fishing, beach combing, casino gaming, golf, and a myriad of activities related to beach fun. Atlantic City, located 45 minutes to the north, is a symphony of excitement. From upscale casinos like the Trump Taj Mahal, to kitschy boardwalk eateries selling funnel cakes and Philly Cheesesteaks, there is something for everyone. How about a 6 mile trip to the best, little zoo that you have ever seen....a donation is your admission. The boardwalk is filled with arcade games, restaurants, and people watching spots as are boardwalks at Ocean City and Wildwood (30 minutes from Avalon). Stone Harbor, the sister city to Avalon, provides more shopping and dining options just 4 miles away.

Walk to Via Mare (white table cloth, Italian BYOB), Tonio's for take out pizza, Philly's famous cheese steaks and hoagies, Nemo's family dining, Tortilla Flats Mexican, upscale Cafe Loren & Blackfish, or the Rock N Chair.

Upgrades for 2009 Season: The entire interior, every paintable surface, was painted in 2008. Beach colors throughout. A new king bed replaced the queen in the 3rd floor bedroom. Broadband service available in 3rd floor 'blue' room.

Best of Avalon/Stone Harbor: Best Thing to Do on a Cloudy Day: The Cape May Zoo, a couple miles south on Rt. 9. Your donation is your admission. Best Pizza: Tonio's, 1 block north on Ocean Drive. Best Italian Dining: Via Mare, 2 blocks north on Ocean Dr. Best Fine Dining: Blackfish, 3rd Ave & 97th St., Stone Harbor Best Boogie Board Beach: 27th St. Best Miniature Golf: Rt. 9 and Rt. 50 outside of Sea Isle. Best Golf Course: Twisted Dunes. Best Driving Range: Sand Barrens public. Best Lunch Spot for watching golfers: Sand Barrens Back Deck

Golf: Courses located just off the island, include Avalon CC, Stone Harbor CC, Sand Barrens, Cape May National and Wildwood CC. Driving range at Sand Barrens is open to the public.

I've brought my wife and two kids up from Houston twice in the last 4 years (Philly transplant). The owners are great to deal with, the house is spotless, and it's in a great location. We'd highly recomend it and plan to return next year after we complete building our home here in Houston.

We would definitely come back to this lovely Avalon beach house! The location was ideal - close to town and the beach and it was a clean, tastefully decorated house that comfortably fit 2 families with small children.

Beautiful House and Fantastic Location

This home is beautifully furnished and has a great location. Avalon is charming beach town with plenty of options for dining and entertainment. The owners are wonderful to deal with. My family and I had a wonderful vacation and plan to rent again next summer.
