Perched on the corner of Ocean Park overlooking Nantucket Sound and across the street from the beach, this elegant home in Oak Bluffs' historic Copeland District is one of the premiere houses on Martha's Vineyard. A glass enclosed porch with antique wicker swings is the perfect spot to enjoy band concerts in the gazebo or view the annual August fireworks display.

Wide porches envelop three sides of the house, a five minute walk from the town of Oak Bluffs, the Flying Horses Carousel, and the ferry terminal. Six airy bedrooms and an open attic loft with picture windows and two skylights sleeps four.

Large den, spacious living room with a jukebox and game table, and fully equipped antique pool room. Newly renovated, eat-in kitchen. Hardwood floors and high ceilings throughout. Enclosed yards are large enough for several tents. Ideal for vacationing, weddings, reunions, retreats and corporate events.

A charming one bedroom, fully equipped cottage on the property is also available for rental.

I've rented other houses on Martha's Vineyard, and this one surpassed both the description and our expectations. Perfectly located across the street from the Oak Bluffs town beach and a 5 minute walk from town and the ferry terminal - we rarely used our car the week we were there.
Rooms are large, ceilings high, house is full of light, although we spent most of our times on one of the 3 porches. Great renovated kitchen, fantastic porch with grill where we cooked out and ate at the long table outside most nights. Glass enclosed porch overlooking the water and park is fabulous!
The big living room, den and pool room provided hours of relaxation and fun for the 2 families that vacationed there together. We are returning this year!

This house has everything!!!

We truly had everything we needed at this rental. The location is superb because it is convenient to everything, The home is very clean, with a new gas grill, private outdoor shower and a porch for every wind direction! The yard and gardens are lovely and well kept. With three off-street parking spaces, you never have to stress about the car if you do have one. However, you could easily rent this house without bringing a car since the grocery/liquor stores are nearby. We are anxious to return again this year (already booked!) and look forward to renting it for years to come. When Carly popped up on the porch (June, 2008) to join us for a glass of wine, these sorority sisters just knew THIS was the house for them! Nobody does it better!
