The additional guest house with full new bathroom sleeps 2 and is just steps away from cottage providing extra room for guests as well as space and privacy. Guest privileges in summer months for private pool and tennis club 1 mile away. It's the ideal retreat for couples or small family seeking a respite from city life and an escape to a peaceful setting in the upper Catskill mountains. A perfect place for skiers, hikers and mountain bikers, as well as writers who seek solitude and tranquility to work. The property is extremely private and beautiful. It borders a farm, and has a lovely view of the mountains. The main cottage has electric, oil and propane heat, with a faux 'woodburning stove that is actually fueled by propane, yet adds the cozy feeling of a woodburner without the mess. The guest cottage is heated by oil.

It can be deceiving when selecting a place to stay in the blind but this property and location will not disappoint you! The beauty of the magnificent countryside is only the beginning; the cottage is quaint, clean and peaceful. If you are into venturing out there is plenty to see and do. The owners made us feel like family with fresh eggs in the refrigerator and cookies on the counter upon our arrival. We look forward to our annual visit with family and friends and would readily recommend it to others.
