This privately owned and operated Big Bear vacation cabin cottage is the cottage owner's second home, so it has many special touches. It is a short distance from the ski slopes and the lake. The interior has all knotty pine interior walls for a true mountain cabin feeling. The owner has decorated in cabin decor with antiques, quilts and lots of charm! You can wrap up in a hand crocheted afghan in front of the fireplace for a romantic getaway in the winter. There is a new 50' Plasma TV. The master bedroom has a king bed and a view to the front landscaped garden with many trees and local . The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and a set of bunk beds to sleep 4 in this room. The view overlooks the private rear yard, where you can have summer cookouts with the charcoal BBQ. The full kitchen has everything you need, including dishes, pots & pans. This cottage has many repeat guests and many referrals. You can go to the lake & rent boats, or bring your own. Bring your computer for DSL

Nearest Airport: Ontario at 50 Miles
You can go hiking, bicycle riding and boating in the local Big Bear Lake. Bring your own bikes, or rent them in the village. There is a horse stable for those mountain rides. The local zoo has many rescued animals. You can park your boat in the private long driveway, or rent them at the lake. There are many antique shops for fun shopping, as well as a large variety of other shops. If you don't feel like cooking, the cottage has many restaurant menus to help you decide where to eat.

Just returned home from your rental cabin, had a great time! It's so cute and charming, we'll be renting again for sure! I would definately recommend your place to other's going to Big Bear!

What a wonderful cabin! Very clean and cozy. We will be back and we hope to continue a family tradition here at this cabin.

truly loved this little stone home...very cozy, very cleanboth the front and backyard are beautiful...can't wait to go back in the winter time...inside and out is even better than shown on the web...
