A beautiful, clean, 2-story Victorian in the heart of the historic Copeland District of downtown Oak Bluffs. This 3-4 bedroom renovated home is located on a quiet street overlooking Hartford Park.

Our house is only two blocks to the center of town, Ocean Park, and the beach; across Ocean Park is the ferry -- no car necessary! Town tennis courts and playground are only a short walk away. Breathe fresh sea air and reconnect with nature in this distinctive home which combines the elegance of the Victorian era with the simplicity of a cottage.

The first floor has hardwood floors; the bright, airy second floor has painted wood floors and cathedral ceilings. In the front is a comfortable covered porch, in the back is a deck with a private backyard canopied with trumpet vine and wisteria.

The upstairs has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a charming common room and two balconies.

Nearest Airport : Martha's Vineyard Airport at 5 Miles
Nearest Beach : beach at 0.1 Miles

Walk 2 blocks to Circuit Avenue (the center of Oak Bluffs) and you will find shopping, restaurants, the Flying Horses carousel, galleries, nightlife, movie theaters, public transportation, bike and moped rentals. Go listen to a concert off Circuit Avenue in the Campground at the historic Tabernacle. Walk 2 more blocks to the harbor where you can arrange fishing and boating excursions. Just around the corner (2 blocks south) is Niantic Park with public tennis courts, children’s playground and a basketball court. Walk 2 blocks to magnificent Ocean Park and listen to the town band concert on Sunday night or simply admire the beautiful historic houses. Walk or ride a bike on the bike path to State Beach, a pristine three mile barrier beach on Nantucket Sound. For the golfer there is the Farm Neck golf course just down the road (1.5 miles). And of course there is all of Martha's Vineyard to enjoy!

Great Home Away from Home!

The location could not be better - we enjoyed walking to town for coffee each morning, nightly strolls, shopping in the quaint shops, sightseeing and the beaches. The home was exactly as represented. More room than we needed and the kitchen is well equipped for a large family. Immaculate, charming – we had a delightful stay!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

We loved the BLT house. We have rented at various places in Oak Bluffs for 4 years and the BLT house is the cleanest, most beautiful and has the best location. We would highly recommend it to anyone. We will be renting it next year. The owners are very friendly and great hosts.

Thanks Brian & Lisa! Our stay at the BLT house was wonderful! We are frequent Vineyarders and have rented the same house for many, many years. This year we decided to try something new and rent close to town and the beaches. Through a web search we found the BLT House. We were a little nervous at first, but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. Their renovated Victorian is just lovely, it is tastefully decorated, very comfortable and full of lots of little details. During our vacation week, the weather was not that great so we spent more time in the house than anticipated. Because the house was so comfortable, including the addictive wrap around porch in the front and wonderful private garden in the back, we had a fabulous time despite the bad weather. We would definitely rent the BLT house again!!

My family and I came on holiday from England to stay in Oak Bluffs.
We had a brilliant time. The house is lovely, we felt at home straight away, it had everything you needed.
The house is also perfect if you don't want to drive as it is so close to the beach and shops.
My favourite thing was to sit on the porch, tea in the morning and wine in the evening. Lisa and Brian who own the house are really nice people and we had some nice chats.
I would thoroughly recommend a vist to the BLT house.

8/29/06 Thank you Lisa & Brian for having such a perfect house to rent for a perfect vacation. The location is perfect..1 1/2 blks to Circuit Ave & all the shops...2 blks to the beach!! The house is interesting with all it's nooks & cranies and surprises to uncover! What a fun house...and it is set up and organized so well..great quality everything...cooking untensils, diswasher, washer & dryer...everything..as well as being very clean. And yes, it was wonderful to hear the music of the piano from time to time...our only regret was that we did not make arrangements for our "little ones" to take piano lessions while we were there. Hopefully, we'll do that on our next vacation here. I highly recommend Lisa & Brian's home for your next visit to OB!!
