Leave your car in the driveway and wander around the small coastal town of Southwest Harbor on Mount Desert Island surrounded by Acadia National Park. Swimming at Echo Lake Beaches just 3 minutes.

Enjoy Acadia National Park and golf within 1 mile: There are 3 golf courses on Mount Desert Island ( 2 are 18 holes ) Acadia National Park has many entrances to swim and Hike . There is only one entrance to pay an entrance fee ( for Cadillac mountain and the Park Loop Road . The rest can always be enjoyed without fees. swim in the beautiful clear waters of Echo Lake just 3 miles from home. Some Mountain Hiking trails are even closer ( Beech Cliff, Flying Mt., Acadia MT. )

Southwest Harbor location is near everything: SWH is approximately 10 or 12 miles from Bar Harbor , Northeast Harbor, and all points of Acadia National Park. and is 10 Miles from Trenton / Bar Harbor Airport, served by US Airways and others. Also Ellsworth ( County Seat ) is 18 miles, and Bangor is the nearest large city ( Bangor Airport is served by many Major Airlines ) is about 50 miles drive. Southwest Harbor is incredible Great Sailing, and reminds one of the Caribbean Islands in Pristine Beauty .
