This cottage was originally built for the famous Hollywood screenwriter, producer and director, Norman Panama. This is where he let his creative juices flow in the summertime. This is where he wrote the movie "White Christmas" and "Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House", and the Broadway play, "Li'l Abner. He was close friends to stars of the 40's and 50's, such as Cary Grant , Bing Crosby and Bob Hope.
