There is a beaver dam behind the house and tons of wildlife to explore on this pristine property including beavers, deer, blue heron, osprey, and hummingbirds. * Tater Hill 18 hole Golf Course just 4 miles away * Lowell Lake, a 200 acre StatePark is 3 miles away * Canoe at house - Drive up to the lake and unload * Numerous mountain biking trails * Beautiful country roads for road biking * Local pond, when frozen, is a favorite for ice skating. * Saturday Market (seasonal) is walking distance or quick drive.

The Area: The town of Londonderry is less than 1 mile away and has all your basic needs plus a number of delicious restaurants including the American Grill. The 3 Clock Inn is down the road. Manchester, just 13 miles from our home, has outlet shopping galore and many fine restaurants. Very close to Weston where you can enjoy the Weston Playhouse, the Weston Antiques Show (October), and The Vermont Country Store.

Golf: Windham Golf Club at Tater Hill. Just 5 miles from our house is a beautiful course. My sister, mom and I spent the weekend this past fall in Londonderry enjoying the folliage, shopping and antiquing. We had a great time. This house is conveniently located between Manchester and Weston. We enjoyed the outlet shopping in Manchester as well as the Hildene Crafts Fair and antique shows in Weston. We had a wonderful dinner at the Three O'Clock Inn, just down the road from this quiet getaway. Our other two nights we spent at the house where we prepared dinner and enjoyed some wine in front of the fireplace. The view of the woods from the back deck is beautiful. The house is very clean and convenient. We certainly felt very much at home. I am looking forward to next fall so that we can enjoy another Girl's Getaway at this lovely home.
