LAKEFRONT HOME IN BERKSHIRES

Our family of 6 adults and 2 boys under 5 were very comfortable in this great house. Everything was beautifully clean, the beds were wonderful, and everything provided for a good time. The lake is lovely and so clear. We enjoyed the canoes and kayaks especially. The boys were delighted with the ducks who visited every day! Mike was very attentive to any needs, sending his repairman out to fix a fan just in time before one of the hotter days. The house is conveniently located to many Berkshires attractions, and we would definitely recommend it for a memorable vacation. Thanks!

My friend and I Dora and our children could not of had a better time on this trip! It was better then excpected,perfect weather,perfect house and GREAT local neighbors!!!! House is very comfortable and every little detail was at this property including kayaks,fishing poles,row boats and even a real canoe! We could not get the kids in the house from the yard playing,from the boating,fishing and especially swimming! We cooked old fashioned meals,made smore's,baked cookies and had every appliance,pots and pans,baking pans and ect....for anything we imagined! The view was exceptional ,the nature was very serene and of course lightning bugs at night kept the kids still running in the dark! Thanks to the owners who are very easy going to work with and maintain a property that is out of this world and have found renters hopefully for many yeard to come for my Family and my friend Dora's Family! and aslo the neighbor next door is a very nice gentlemen who is great for local advice,history of the area and also is their to fix any problems that may come up unexpected!

Our family of eight finds this house a nice refuge in the winter. We usually hide here during Christmas time, the house is cozy, warm, well-lit, and offers the quiet we want for ourselves this time of the year. It is always very clean, and well-maintained. The key-box works perfect, so no matter when we get there during arrival day, we can get in, without having to wait for the renters. The kitchen is well equipped, there is enough tableware for 8-10 people. This year we needed Internet, and it worked well. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The heating system works well. Jiminy Peak is about a 45 minute ride. Shops, restaurants, area churches, lipbrary and pharmacy are much closer within a short ride in Hinsdale or in neighboring Dalton. The small road leading to the house has a few potholes, but it actually has improved from years past, just drive slowly. Overall a very good value and a nice quiet place for a winter getaway.
