Riverwood is a beautiful beachfront vacation rental home in Healdsburg, the heart of Sonoma Wine Country. It's located near the point where the Russian River flows through three world class wine growing valleys, (the Dry Creek, Alexander and Russian River Valleys). The home's large size rooms, comfortable furnishings and beautiful interior make it the perfect retreat for families, vacationers of all ages, wine enthusiasts, outdoor adventurers, and weekend getaways with great friends... (Children are welcome.) It's also an ideal home away from home for those attending wine country weddings, and a great destination for business retreats. Riverwood is just outside Healdsburg (just 1.2 miles from the city liimits), and yet hidden away in the heart of Sonoma County Wine Country. Call or ask about our website for more photos.

We work hard to keep our homes immaculately clean, making an effort to be as 'green and clean' as possible. We choose environmentally friendly products where possible.

The large custom dining table in the great room seats 12 and there's a charming custom log table for six in the kitchen. The living area has plenty of comfortable seating, leather sofas, a cabinet full of board games, DVDs and reading material, and a large stone fireplace. The large recreation room on the lower level has a full size ping pong table, a large screen television. There are three TVs in the home. Outdoor amenities include a 5 person hot tub, a five person sauna, an outdoor hot and cold shower, private beach, plus two kayaks. It's a great place to make memories!: What a great place to make memories! Gather in the large dining room for memorable meals around the impressive oval table, or enjoy grilling and dining on the covered river view deck. Prepare sumptuous dishes using fresh, locally grown, produce, available from local farms (found by following Farm Trails maps), or visiting the farmer's markets held in Healsburg's Plaza. You'll find this home to be comfortable and filled with things to interest every age. Guests have commented that it feels like a home where four generations would want to gather to share Thanksgiving dinner, and we agree. We invite you to come and discover all that Riverwood has to offer!

Things to do, and amenities.: The younger generation will love the recreation room, with it's comfortable rustic decor, ping pong table, gigantic television, and room to play. In the living room, the stone fireplace, leather sofas, television, board games, travel and nature library, and plentiful seating invite adults to relax and enjoy their stay. Then there are the hot tub, kayaks, and beach to explore... family fun and outdoor adventure opportunities abound. The decks have plenty of lounging furniture, and a very comfy round lounge that almost guarantees you'll be nodding off for a nap the moment you lay back for a relaxing view of the river. We have something for everyone, including free WIFI Internet. An interesting note is that Riverwood Lodge was formerly the vacation home of Oakland Raider's Super Bowl winning coach, Ollie Spencer, where he enjoyed entertaining his friends, and the Super Bowl trophy was displayed here in the great room.

Golf: Healdsburg Golf Club (at Tayman Park) is just 2 miles away.

We had a wonderful time. Riverwood was the perfect setting for our annual get away for 7. The kitchen area was able to accommodate multiple cooks, as well as spectators. We enjoyed late night discussions in front of the fireplace, and long soaks in spa. We appreciate the time and attention spent furnishing the house and providing we we needed for inside and outside dining. Thank you for your professional and responsive service. May we stay again next year?

All I can say is WOW. What a beautiful home in a gorgeous setting. We had 6 adults and 2 kids stay here for the week and never ran into each other. More than enough room, easy to find, and a quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed the fresh limes off the tree in our evening coctails. I have reccomended this to some of my friends, and we are planning a return trip to see more of wine country.

We have just spent a wonderful 8 days with our son
and daughter and their families in your beautiful
home. The children are 6, 4 1/2, 3 1/2 and 14
mos., and the house worked beautifully for them
plus 6 adults (2 more were planned but couldn't
make it). We were concerned about finding a place
that would be safe for small children yet still be a
setting that all generations could enjoy. This was
the perfect spot!
The house is lovely - our 6 year old grandson
walked in, looked around, and commented that
"this house is all about animals and nature"- and
we agree. It is clean, beautifully appointed and has
excellent river views and access. We would certainly
return if the opportunity arises.
