If you are looking for the full Rocky Mountains experience, this is the place for you! The Sunnyside House is located 6 miles from Winter Park facing spectacular views of the continental divide and the ski area. This is a spacious home designed to accommodate a large 'family' of up to 19 people, and everyone can sit down to eat at the same time! Huge windows off the sun room open the home to fantastic views and, coupled with its vaulted ceilings, give the home a light and open atmosphere. The 2800 square foot house includes seven bedrooms, three baths, fireplace, free wireless internet, outdoor hot tub, a sun room with air hockey table, large kitchen, dining room, living room, family room, laundry room, entry-way 'mudroom' . The free shuttle bus to the ski area picks up 5 minutes from the house.

The downstairs bedrooms include the master bedroom that has a queen bed and double futon, plus private bathroom. The bunk room includes a bunk bed with a double futon on the bottom and single on top, plus an additional single bed. The third bedroom has a trundle bed that can be either two twins or a king bed. The fourth bedroom has a double bed and a twin, and the fifth bedroom has a queen futon.On the upper level with spectacular mountain and ski area views is a bedroom with a queen bed. The last bedroom doubles as the TV room and has a queen hide-a-bed. Sunnyside Mountain Home is an ideal vacation spot for families and friends to gather in a warm, comfortable environment in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

We slept 4 families (16 people total) very comfortably with enough private rooms and baths. The house is well situated, only 1/2 block off Hwy 40, within easy distance of skiing, eating, and snow tubing (our family's favorites). The owner and local service were excellent, the house was well insulated and all facilities worked well. The area provides lots to do at reasonable rates - the kids spent a couple days at the Y skating, swimming, etc. and both beginner and advanced ski slopes are close.
