Surrounded by mountain views with 80 feet of private frontage with dock including a PWC ramp and boat mooring. This three bedroom four-seasons retreat is available weekly or for any season.

A Great Place, very comfortable

My family had a wonderful vacation at this house on the Great Sacandaga Lake
This place is very well kept and has great access to the lake! A group of 8 people stayed here and we really enjoyed the dock, charcoal grill, and inside of this air-conditioned house. Kitchen and dinning area, living room, enclosed porch, charcoal BBQ grill and outdoor fire pit. A 40 ft. deep water dock, boat mooring, cable TV, internet, and land line phone.
The Security camera has a disable; it was pointed towards the garage during our whole visit.

A Wonderful Place to Stay

My cat and I spent 6 weeks in this house during the winter while our Townhouse was being completed. The house is lovely and well appointed. The pellet stove kept the house warm and was surprisingly easy to operate. Being there in the winter did not allow us to take advantage of the lake but there was always something going on...I especially got a kick out of the ice boats sailing up and down. Both Puff, my cat, and I were very sad to leave and hope we can come back one day. It is truly a lovely place and a wonderful spot on the lake.

Great Rental, Highly Recommended

What a great property! We have stayed at this house a number of times, and have loved every minute of it. The house sits right on the lake and has beautiful views of the mountains. I couldn't imagine anything better. The house is great for anyone including young children. We bring the dog up as well and he loves running around the large piece of property and playing by the lake. The house had plenty of room for 7 of us to sleep comfortably with room left over. Everything was perfectly maintained, and the landscape was clean and beautiful. Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

STAY AWAY FROM THIS RENTAL; ESPECIALLY WITH KIDS

We found out after our stay that the owner watches guests activities via an internet security camera. In addition, there is a surcharge after the fact for EVERYTHING! For example even though it says linens are provided there was an "extra" cleaning charge for using all the towels. If you can deal with the owner watching you and your kids via webcam during your visit and don't mind paying $200 or so in additional charges then this place might be for you!
Owner's Response: This renter did not honor the conditions set forth in the HomeAway (Cyberrentals) rental.
I felt this renter was not forthcoming, and I did not desire to rent to him in the future.
The renter had more than six people, dogs, and disconnected the outdoor security camera
on arrival and reconnected it on his departure, so much for not knowing its existence, it is also in plane view. The additional charge for more than 6 people is to cover the additional costs for the laundry, and cleaning. The dog hair on one of the futons indicated the presents of pets. The renter stated that…” There were 8 people total …”.. they came in 5 vehicles and a camp trailer, as reported by the caretaker checking on my moored boat, that I was unable to check on via the security camera.
This renter was charged only for the pets and 2 additional guests, deducted from his security deposit.
The security camera will be modified with a disable feature.

The sour grapes are from me informing the renter….….
“The house will not be available for you to rent next year.”
