Enjoy porpoise, sea turtles, gulls, herons, pelicans and other wildlife that inhabit the 350,000-acre ACE Basin National Estuary of which Harbor Island is a part of. Dine at wonderful nearby restaurants that specialize in local fresh cuisine or prepare your own from fresh local seafood markets in your fully equipped kitchen A truly historic area with Savannah and Charleston making great day trip destinations.

Nearest Beach: beach at 100 Metres

Enjoy porpoise, sea turtles, gulls, herons, pelicans and other wildlife that inhabit the 350,000-acre ACE Basin National Estuarine Research of which Harbor Island is a part of. And if you do want to get out for a while you can. Great seafood restaurants and delicious local cuisine is just minutes away by car. Enjoy local artists and view their works at the many galleries in the area. Sightseeing, shopping and daytrips will also fill the day. Fish the surf or the Hunting Island fishing pier or charter one of the area's local captains and head to sea. Bring your clubs and play one of the many great courses you've all heard about in the area. Comb the beaches, go shrimping or crabbing, go birding, visit the lighthouse next door at Hunting Island State Park. Savannah and Charleston make great day trip destinations. Remember to stop at Publix or one of the other food stores in Beaufort before heading out to the island to stock up on groceries.

We are truly thankful to the both of you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us in April. We celebrated our 16th anniversary there. I definitly would recommend anyone visiting the area to stay here. Mike and Debbie are very informative about the area and help you with just about anything that you will need to know before your trip. This is a very nice place to stay...
