'Villa ‘Penroy’ has 3 large air-conditioned double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The spacious principal bedroom is located on the first floor and has a kingsize ‘Tempur’ bed. Its large en-suite includes a walk in shower and bidet. This bedroom opens on to an expansive balcony, which offers mountain views. The generously proportioned air-conditioned lounge/dining room is furnished to a high standard and offers satellite television/radio and opens on to another large balcony overlooking the pool. There is a well equipped kitchen and separate utility. The south facing front door opens on to a third balcony. Outside, in the fully landscaped gardens, there are terraces and a 7mx4m pool with roman steps. Garden and pool lights combine to create a restful atmosphere after dusk. Off road parking, high walls and gates are supported by electronic security systems for peace of mind.

Located in an elevated position within a superior residential area, Villa Penroy overlooks a park promenading area and is a four/five minute walk from a newly opened major Supermarket (which will anchor some 30 to 40 other shops) and 10 minutes from a twice weekly Market. Twenty minutes from the airport and mid-way between the major towns of Alicante and Torrevieja, La Marina offers a wide variety of evening entertainment, restaurants, shops, bars, outdoor pool complexes and miles of superb unspoiled beaches of soft golden sand that have been awarded 'blue flag 'status.

  • Deposit of £150 required to secure booking with balance 6 weeks prior to departure. There is a £100 security deposit. The villa will be available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure unless otherwise agreed with our local agent. Whilst the hire of a car is highly recommended, there is a local coastal bus service which runs to the beach and other coastal towns.

Further information.: Villa ‘Penroy’ is an attractive villa located in an environment of other detached villas with private pools and generous plot sizes. The property is surrounded by high walls and the pool and its terrace have been further screened to provide privacy. Sun loungers, reclining chairs and parasols are provided and ‘al fresco’ meals may be taken under the gazebo around the 6 seater table and chairs. Attractions and facilities - An information pack will be found in the villa providing details of local entertainments and facilities such as local doctors, tourist information offices etc.

Attractions.: The entertainments include several local golf courses, Paramount’s now famous Disney style ‘Terra-mitica’theme park in Benidorm, and miles of superb unspoiled ‘blue flag’ beaches, which can be reached in minutes by car, or by bus in the summer months. Whether you prefer the frantic activity of go-carting or a more leisurely game of bowls, you will find something for all tastes in the area. The nearby resort towns of Guadamar and Santa Pola are only a 10-15 minute drive away along the N332 coastal road which is reached in three minutes from the villa. These towns are both well worth a visit and can also be reached by bus. For a good evening out, visit the wide variety of restaurants in La Marina, many of which include live entertainment. Drive inland to see the beauty of rural Spain with breathtaking mountain views and visit typically Spanish villages for a taste of real Spain, or experience the cultural scene by taking in a concert in Torrevieja; all within 20 minutes from the villa.

Lovely Villa In A Great Location

My husband and I visited La Marina in July 2009 with our teenage son and had a wonderful 2 week holiday at Villa Penroy.
We hired a car,and from Alicante airport La Marina is only a short drive and is well signposted.We hardly used the car at all as the villa is near restaurants,bars and a huge Consum supermarket,they are all within an easy 2 minute walk of the villa but there is no noise from them at all.
The villa itself is very nice,clean,fully air conditioned and very comfortable thanks to the huge floor rugs in living area and bedroom.The beds are extremely comfortable too causing us to sleep on later than normal some mornings!!
The pool area is clean,well laid out, and the pool a nice size.The bars and restaurants within a couple of mins walking distance are mainly British but a longer walk or short drive takes you to another area with a more variety of restaurants.
I would without any hesitation recommend Villa Penroy and hope to go back next year sometime.

Beautiful secluded villa of high standard. Weather was fantastic for our whole fortnight which was great so we managed to dine outside every night under the pergola by the pool which was perfect. We did have a car which was useful to stock up at the supermarket and to go to the lovely golden beach which was 10-15 minutes drive away but you could probably manage without a car if you don’t mind public transport. We took our three grownup children who spent the whole time in the pool. Walking distance to local bars and restaurants but not too near to be noisy. The only fault if we had one was everyone who worked locally was English so not much chance of trying out our limited lingo but some people like that. Very friendly key holders who gave us lots of useful information about the area. Also owner very friendly and emailed extra photos of rooms when requested. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again soon.

Relaxation.

Just returned from a very relaxing week at Villa Penroy. It is a great location. As it is within walking distance of the local shops and restaurants we didn't feel the need to hire a car. The villa is beautiful and clean. The owner provided us with good advice and the agents we met to show us around the villa were exceptionally helpful.
