***SORRY, NO MORE WEEKEND RENTALS FOR THE 2014/15 SEASON, ONLY MIDWEEK (Sunday night to Friday Morning)***
2 bedroom 'Village Run' condominium, located at Sugarbush South/Lincoln Peak. Condo is located 1/2 mile from the resort, and it is ski in (via Village Run) and there is a free shuttle bus or a short walk to a ski trail back to ski area and South Village. Other then the resort's Clay Brook hotel or the Snow Creek condo's you can not get much closer, and those will cost your 2 to 4x what our unit rents for!
We have a sunny deck with views of ski slopes and warm toasty wood stove (with glass door) for pleasant fireside ambiance. 2 floors/ 1 bath/ 2 bedrooms. BR#1 w/ queen bed. BR#2 with four single bunk style beds and sleeper couch in living room.
Unit was renovated in Jan 2010: New sliders & front door, new flooring, & re-painted
All beds have allergy-free covers.
Parents? A baby crib is available and the wood stove and stairs are all gated/childproofed.
Please note that our landline phone in our condo works for emergency access (911) only. Most people have and use cell phones. All major cell phone carriers work well at our condo (Verizon, Spint, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc) There is also a pay phone 1/2 mile away.
I'm a ski patroller at Sugarbush, and have been on their staff since 1992. Because of this, we have excellent local knowledge and can help make sure you enjoy your vacation at our condo.
Pete Serisky purchased this condo in 2004
We've been renting this unit out (primarily during holiday periods) since we've owned it - thats 10 years of experience. I think we've worked out all the kinks and know how to ensure your visit is 'hassle free' if you rent from us!
We are a family of 2 adults and 4 kids. This place was perfect for us...so nice and cozy. It was great to come back to it's wood burning fireplace after a long day on the slopes. We had never been to Sugarbush before. It's an awesome mountain, perfect for all skiing levels. One of the best things about this condo was its location. After a short walk, we were able to ski right to the ski lifts. The last thing we wanted to do after spending a lot of time to get everyone ready, was to have to get in the car.
This place was perfect for our family of four. A short walk to the shuttle bus to the slopes. The kids loved the bunk beds and the wood stove made for a very cozy apres-ski. At the owner's suggestion, we watched the MLK weekend torch light parade and fireworks from the deck of the condo which was beautiful and a very nice memory for the whole family. The unit was well-equipped and accurately described in the listing and the ownwer was conscientious and a pleasure to deal with, even very graciously coming to bail us out when we inadvertently locked ourselves out one day. Would rent again if our travels take us back to Sugarbush. Thanks!
Condo accurately described. Just the basics but perfect for our family of 4. Great location. Did not use the ski on/off because we had friends on the mountain, but seems easy enough and if not a shuttle is a short walk away. The owner was a pleasure to work with and we had a very nice welcome basket with information and local goodies. Would definitely stay here again if our travel plans take us back up that way! Thank you!
We had a great time and were thrilled with the comfortable accommodations, a delightful gift basket full of Vermont goodies, helpful packet of information and phone calls to check in on us...While you can walk to the slope, the shuttle bus is easy and efficient. We didn't move the car once!
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was our first trip to Sugarbush and what a fantastic mountain it is! Well organized and very family friendly. Not too crowded either.
The owners were very helpful and the condo was comfortable. We stayed with our 3 small children and their grandfather( who slept on the pull out sofa). We were able to catch the shuttle to the mountain just at the bottom of the hill. The only problem is that the tiniest one never wanted to walk back up at the END of the day! All the toys and baby supplies were left out for us to enjoy and kitchen was well equipped. My favorite thing at the end of the day was to collapse in these super comfortable (IKEA, I think) lounger with a foot rest in front of the TV. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. They also provided lots of local info in a binder for you to refer to. Sugarbush requires a car because the village is not as close to the mountain as it is in some ski towns. We did more Mac & cheese and Pizza then eating out because we found the restaurants to be too crowded to wait with the children for a table.
I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to others.
