This cozy three bedroom townhouse has a gated entrance for privacy. It is located in a quiet Seattle neighborhood less than 10 minutes north of downtown Seattle and only a few minutes from the University of Washington. It has three bedrooms (one queen bed; 4 twins) 2 cable TV, one with VCR and DVD, a working computer with internet and a gas fireplace. The kitchen is fully fitted. Linens are of course provided. It is one block from Greenlake Park with its three mile hiking/ biking/ strolling path, children's playground, friendly restaurants and Starbucks. It is on a direct bus line to downtown Seattle, the Seattle Center, the Seattle Waterfront and Northgate shopping mall. A few blocks away is a direct bus to the University. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a gas fireplace. There is a small garage and street parking is available.

Downtown Seattle, the Seattle Center and the Seattle Waterfront are easily accessible from The Greenlake Townhouse. There is a children's playground and a city indoor swimming pool just a few blocks away. The Woodland Park Zoo is nearby at the opposite end of Greenlake. The University of Washington is less than 10 minutes away. Albertson's grocery store is within walking distance and there are many ethnic and American restaurants within walking distance. Greenlake is a very fun Seattle neighborhood. The townhouse is just one block up from the lake.

  • The master bedroom is spacious with French doors that open out on a small deck and look out on our patio and neighborhood houses. There is a computer with cable Internet in the master bedroom. This bedroom is on the top floor. It has a queen sized bed. The second bedroom is also on the third floor. It has twin beds and a wall to wall bookcare on one side. There are lots of children's books available for your pleasure. There is a full bathroom between these two bedrooms and a washer/dryer on this floor. The third bedroom also has twin beds. It is located on the ground floor. There are no steps to reach this bedroom and there is a full bathroom on this floor.

Notes: We bought this townhouse as our vacation home when we lived abroad. It is just one block from Green Lake Park and it is possible to stay there without a car. The ground floor bedroom and bathroom are accessible to a wheelchair but the eating area is up a flight of stairs. There are many casual but not fast food restaurants and a Starbuck's within walking distance. The townhouse is on a direct busline to the Seattle Center, Downtown, Pioneer Square and the Seattle Waterfront.l

We own a vacation rental in Sandpoint, Idaho, so we are particular when it comes to our expectations of other vacation rentals. The Greenlake Townhome really exceeded our expectations in several areas.

The location is outstanding. It is within walking distance of shopping and good restaurants (including the Greenlake Tavern which we recommend). Greenlake park is down the street. We ran or walked every day around the lake. You get an incredible flavor for the City by strolling around the lake. You are close to public transportation as well.

The townhome was comfortable, spacious and well appointed. Peri (the owner) is delightful and very accommodating. We will stay in this townhome on our next trip. Our experience was just great!

My family stayed in this very nice home before/during my 4-yr-old nephew underwent heart surgery at the Seattle Children's Hospital. The home was very nice, very comfortable, and at a very convenient location. The fact that a wonderful park (with a playground!) and the library was a block away was an added bonus. The only drawback was that there is no bathroom on the main/2nd floor, and my mother who is in her 70s had to tackle the stairs several times a day. But she did it okay.
Thanks to the owner of this home for your hospitality, it was nice to have a “home away from home” during this tough time for our family! :)

We had family from 3 states coming to Seattle for my sisters wedding. It was great to all be able to stay together in this condo! I loved that in the mornings my father could walk the kids down to the playground at beautiful green lake while we ladies got ready. Great location! Very comfortable!

We recently rented this home for a family wedding and it worked out just beautiful for us. The
Green Lake Area was just beautiful and it was easy access to everything that we needed and more. The home was clean and so comfortable. Had everything you would need when away from home. The little backyard area was very much appreciated, because the weather was so great the week we were there, it was a great focal point for visiting family. Recommend this home highly. My mom who is 85 was with us on the adventure and she broke her ankle the day of our trip, when we got here, believe me the bedroom and bathroom on the first floor was most appreciated. Thanks!
