Built in the Mid Century and remodeled and opened up to the tastes of today. There is 2100 square feet of space all on one level, with three private patios.
The great room design keeps everyone where the action is. The kitchen is ideal for the gourmet cook, with a 6 burner gas cooktop, double ovens, microwave, french door refrigerator with icemaker and separate beverage refrigerator, all in stainless steel. There are slab granite counters with a huge island, a perfect place to help the cook.
All this opens to a formal dining room that will seat 8 and a warm inviting living room with corner stack stone gas log fireplace. Tile floors, with wool area rugs, make a rich backdrop for this 2100 square foot home with all new furnishings. My husband loves his Audio toys. The living room has a new 56 inch DLP flat screen. Each bedroom has it's own flat screen TV as well. There is a sound system throughout the entire house, with controls in most every room and outside. All beds are heavenly to sleep in and come with two sets of 600 thread count sheets ( I have a pet pieve about renting homes and not having a comfortable bed to sleep in).
Enter through a gated and walled front patio, every bedroom and bathroom opens to patios as well. Features include a leaded glass double door entry, stack washer and dryer, gas heat and air conditioning. The pool is located steps from the back patio.
Located on the property are tennis courts, a par 3 four hole golf course and 6 swimming pools, three with hot tubs. Just down the street from great shopping at El Paseo. And Blocks from The newly designed 36 hole Public course, The Golf Resort at Indian Wells.
Like I said, everything is new. The house is decorated with a comfortable south west touch with leather sofas, rustic reds and wool area rugs. We are very proud of our new home and are looking for guests who will be proud of it as well.

About Brooke Kimes
Brooke and I purchased this Mid Century home, built in 1968, because we appreciated the wide open spaces, views of the Mountains, and proximity to the Desert Cities attractions. Someday we hope to retire and spend glorious sunny Spring and Winters here (We live in Seattle). We saw great opportunities to open up rooms and design a home of today's taste. So in 2006 and 2007 we hired an excellent contractor to put our dreams into solid walls. We are pleased to see it turn out so well. Those that have stayed with us agree. We pride ourselves on taking care of our property and are looking for those that will feel the same way.

Why Brooke Kimes chose Indian Wells
We had looked in many different locals. Tucson, Scottsdale and Pheonix to name a few. What finally swayed us to the Palm Springs area was the mix of Desert and Lush green. We also like the central location. We can be in Disneyland in 1.5 hrs, as well as LA, Vegas in 4 hrs, San Diego in 2 hrs and Mexico in 2.5 hrs. Plus there is so much to do in the area, great restaurants, arts, shopping, golfing, and outdoor activities.
What makes this condo unique
We like the great location. The home sits in a low density quiet neighborhood, so we look out onto lush lawns and gardens, mountains and a pool. We enjoy two tennis courts and a par 3 four hole course that winds among the neighborhood. Our neighbors next door rent their furnished home out too, so two large families could be side by side.

It is our home away from home in the desert. Comfort, quiet and an ideal location make it a very nice place to stay.
