House, 5 Bedrooms, 5 Baths, (Sleeps 10)

Upscale luxury and elegance with breathtaking views. This premier designed and built 5 year old home is located on 3.5 acres in the private gated community of Cedar Hill.

Owner's 2nd home. House is detailed, furnished and maintained as such.

The main level has an open dining and great room with large stone wood burning fireplace. The great room has large flat screen HD TV, DVD, Stereo System with Surround Sound. The kitchen is equipped with GE Profile appliances including a 5 burner gas cook top. There is a large eat-in breakfast area in the kitchen. The Master Suite (king) is private with a walk in closet, double vanity sinks, a bath with soaking tub, water closet and separate shower. Two guest suites(kings)are also on the main level with private baths.

The main level has a large open deck area and a screened porch with outdoor fireplace offering great views of Sleepy Valley and Big Sheep Cliff Mountain. The screen porch has a teak dinning table and chairs to seat 6-8 for outdoor dining. The open deck area also has a gas grill in addition to beautiful sunset views and wonderful evening star gazing.

The lower level offers a great room with large flat screen HD TV, DVD, VHS, CD Stereo System all with Surround Sound. Two guest suites are also located on this level with private baths. One offers a King and the other offers two twin beds.

Lower level has covered deck with hammock for your afternoons naps.

All guest suites are well sized and have TV/DVD with full satellite channels and HBO premium channels.

Covered parking with direct entry into main level. Local Property Management and Maintanance on call.

Why The Owner chose Cashiers

My wife grew up in the mountains of Vermont and I grew up on the coast of South Carolina. Living on the coast we found Cashiers to be the mountain escape we needed in the hot Carolina summers. The feel is small town like Vermont and the people are welcoming like the beach crowd in the Carolina's.

What makes this house unique

We love the big fireplace in the great room when it is cold and the outside fireplace on the screen proch when the evenings are cool. The privacy of the big decks looking out at the valley below and the mountains in the distance. The sounds of the nearby mountain stream.

The pictures on the computer did not compare to the actual beauty of each room, the view, or the extra special atmosphere of this marvelous house. What a respite, and my childrens' faces lit up when they walked in. What a marvelous gift I was able to give my children and grandchildren. They loved the snow tubing in Sapphire Valley (about 4 minutes away). Because they knew from whom we were renting they immediately let us in at VERY little cost. We did not eat out so cannot comment on restaurants. Can't say enough about it, but will go again next chance we can.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful home. It is very clean and has plenty of space for the 4 couples that enjoyed our fall mountain break. This home is spacious for a big group and has a great deck and kitchen/living room. We all had a master bedroom and our own bathroom. Very well built.
The house is in a great location to Cashiers and all the activities around this area.
The owner is very easy to work with and always answered my questions in a timely manner. I would rent this house again!

A Mountain Escape

This home is fabulous. We have rented many mountain homes but this one is by far the most comfortable, fully furnished, and picturesque. There were 10 of us in our group and every bedroom had comfortable beds and high end linens. The view is spectacular from the great room and master suites. We enjoyed the porch and had fires each morning and night. Firewood was cheap from Ingles. Even though grocery stores and shops were 5 minutes away, you feel like you are miles from town. I would recommend this home for large families and we will definitely book again. The owner was so accommodating and helpful.
