The beautiful and historic Skinner Cottage (1802), home to Richard Skinner, the third Governor of Vermont, is two doors from the famous Equinox Hotel and Resort in the picturesque village of Manchester, Vermont. The entire third floor of the Cottage has a lovely two-bedroom suite with a private bathroom, eat-in kitchen, family room with a cozy stove, and lovely window seat. The private enclosed entrance and charming front porch will enhance your stay. The Cottage Suite is fully equipped with all linens and tableware, air conditioning and cable TV. Stroll along the historic marble walkway and visit the numerous shops, restaurants and various points of interest in this wonderful four season resort community.

Since this is a prime four-season resort community, the recreational activities are abundant, particularly in the summer, fall, and winter. Our guests also have access to the facilities of the Equinox Resort which include an indoor swimming pool, spa, and year-round tennis, and a fitness center. Museums, art centers and historic points of interest are minutes away. The renowned Manchester outlets and antique shopping are in walking distance to the Cottage. Special Golf packages at Gleneagles Country Club (Equinox) and Stratton Country Club, and special Ski packages at Stratton Mountain are available.

Great Apartment

Stayed here for a week with my wife and 2 teenagers. This apartment has almost everything you could ask for, large rooms, very clean, short walk to town center, close to ski areas and great resturants. I say almost because thers no on site laundry. The best asset to this great apartment are Sandy & Ray the owners who live down stairs. They made our stay great with helpful hints on things to do, see and places to eat. We all loved it!

Stayed there during the fall colors. Very nice place and great owners. Clean, nice and warm. They new the best places to eat and what to see besides the fall colors.
Would definitely recommend this to fellow travelers. Plenty of room to spread out with two couples.
Would like the second bedroom which is a twin room made into a king when you know you have two couples staying there. It can always be moved back for two kids.
Just keep that in mind.

My husband and I with our 2 kids stayed for 6 nights and had a wonderful time. The apartment was a great size and had everything we needed. It was very clean. The location was great and the owners (who lived downstairs) were extremely helpful and gratious. They even gave us a list of ideas for things to do that weren't in the usual travel books which made our experience there unique.
