Brooklyn Vacation Rental apartment

We booked from England with our family of four teenagers and Wynn was extremely helpful, meeting us at the property and giving us plenty of help on where to eat, what to see, how to find and work things. Very well-equipped kitchen, great local deli's and restaurants, we had a super introduction to New York.

Firstly I would like to thank Wynn for being so accommodating. Being half way around the world it was difficult to know what to expect, but the place was perfect for me and my family (six of us). We spent 19 perfect comfortable days. The appartment was clean and well equipped and maintained. The location was superb. Only a $2 ride on the subway (which is just around the corner) to Manhattan. There is also a great local cab service which we used which was cheap so no problems getting back to the airport or if you want to get home late at night from the city.
Don’t miss out on the opportunity on visiting the Century 21 store on 86th Street you can pick up some great bargains.
The area is very safe, there is so much to do locally. Lots of Deli’s,fruit and vegetable stores to pick up food if you want to eat in, the facilities for cooking are perfect but there are too many tempting restaurants close by to choose from. We ate the best Chinese food from the take away in 5th Avenue I don’t think I have had anything like it here in Australia yet. The famous Leskes bakery is just around the corner on 5th Avene with its tempting Cheescakes plus there are so many other great bakeries like Janet Danet and the Bay Ridge Bakery to choose from My kids miss the great bagels we would buy freshly baked every morning with the Lock Spread you can buy already prepared.
If you want to experience what its like to live in a New York Suburb this is the perfect location for you.
Once again you could not get a better host than Wynn, Thank you so much for your kind hospitality. If we come to New York again we will definately be staying here again.

Wynn's vacation rental is everything I had imagined and more. He was very friendly and provided us with everything we needed. The apartment was big, clean, and in an excellent location. Everything you could have possibly needed was within a very short walking distance. The subway was only about a block away, so there was easy accessibility to other parts of the city. Great restaurants and entertainment are just around the corner. There's even a movie theater only about 4 blocks away. This was a great base to see all of New York for four very important reasons. It was a very safe neighborhood; it was close to transportation; it's the real Brooklyn, not some fake yuppi neighborhood in Williamsburg; and parking was moderately easy to find. The apartment is in a quaint walkup with very friendly neighbors, on a tree-lined street. Wynn's place really made our trip to New York unique and I would definately choose to stay here next time visiting.
