Elevations up to 6,100 feet on the Appalachian Trail at Big Bald Mtn. Thousands of acres and over 400 miles of roads. This home has a convenient year-round location and is situated on one level with a fairly flat lot. Private location buffered by thick forest with no other homes in site. Living room and all 3 bedrooms have cathedral ceilings. The home has all hardwood floors, a wood burning fireplace, Central Air Conditioning, large private rear deck, front stone patio, bar/tavern room, fully equipped and turnkey. Minutes to local ski area, horseback riding, tennis, swimming, hiking and 400 miles of Mountain-biking. The best kept secret in Western NC. Amenities vary based on time of year and season. Easy access to National Forest and Asheville NC. Community offers skiing, horseback riding, tennis, swimming, hiking and 400 miles of Mountain-biking. The best thing to do is relax and enjoy the peace and quiet with freinds and loved ones. Quality of life and getting back to basics are the main attractions. The mountains are prestine and full of wildlife, creeks, tremendouse views and room to explore. Take the kids fishing. Have a picnic. Grill out under the stars. Camp, Hike, Bike or do whatever you feel like doing, including nothing. No AC needed in Summer. We burn fires year round. Summer evenings in the 50s and 60s.
